My knees were bone on bone. I suffered ten years. I had total knee replacement, both knees, 3 months apart. Dr. Harkins and his staff were wonderful every step of the process. My knees feel great.

I had a total shoulder replacement by Dr Harkins in Nov 2020. I had constant pain and burning in the shoulder for about a year prior to my surgery. I couldn't throw a ball overhand, swim, pick up my grandkids, or complete a round of golf. When I woke up in recovery, the pain and burning was gone. The only pain I had was a few days from the incision. Now six months later, and three months of PT, my shoulder remains pain free. I've regained almost 100% of my range of motion, getting back to enjoying all the things I've missed out on for years. I couldn't imagine the surgery turning out any better. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Harkins and Athens Ortopedic Clinic.
