When we moved from the city our old insurance did not cover our new county. Our new insurance gave us several doc's to choose from. We have NEVER been happier, or more pleased, with a doctor in our lives. We are retired so have seen quite a few less than desirable doctors and office help. Believe me when I say Dr.Shannon Barton is the real deal. She doesn't just listen, she HEARS you and NEVER rushes any of our family members. (Due to our praises some family members now have Dr.Shannon as their doc) Her staff are always pleasant and also don’t rush you. When we call the office to leave a message with her nurse we're ALWAYS contacted the same day. We've been with Dr.Shannon Barton 3 yrs now and are so very thankful for her. You will find out, early on, her family is very precious to her. We believe this is what contributes to her being such a caring person and doctor.

Horrible experience and rude staff. Doctor is too busy and rushed. If you need more than a bandaid or simple prescription, forget it.

Im just going to put this out there. So, I have been sick now for good while. Today i finally found a doctor that would take new patients. I was expecting the long wait to get seen! My appointment was at 11am this morning. Being a new patient at this practice i knew i would have some paperwork to fill out so i got there right on time. The paperwork took me all of 5 min.... Ok great.. Now the wait... At 1114 the nurse called me back.. Hmmm .." That was qick i thought to myself". She did my assessment and put the notes in the system for the doc to review. She says" the doctor will be in shortly" and leaves the exam room its now 1126. So i sit there and open my phone to do the usual fb scroll to pass time... No more than 2 min go by and the doctor walks in. We discuss ALL of my issues and symptoms then he orders a chest x-ray... So now im thinking this is when they forget about you... And the wait begins.. 4 min go by and the nurse returns to take me for my x-ray... Now im thinking to myself this place has got it down...I literally walked out of the doctors office at 1150 this morning.-I had a chest x-ray done to verify no pneumonia-1 shot antibiotics-1 shot steroids- covid test just incase- doctor wrote 5 prescriptions and had them sent to the pharmacy- full exam all vitals- addressed every one of my concerns and ailmentsI am completely blown away at the efficiency of this doctors office! They should consult every other practice ive ever been to.50 min at the doctors office is awesome!Thank you so much for the great experience Doctor Grant!

Dr. Barton is as down to earth as any doctor around. She takes the time to listen and never seems rushed. She is a gem and my family is greatful for her.

Dr Barton is one in a million. She’s always %100 listening and will always make sure she figures out what you need. We started going to venture medical when we lived in Monticello. Moving to Danielsville makes for a long drive but we never thought to go to another dr. Her staff is kind and efficient and yo will feel like you spent time with friends

Dr. Barton is absolutely a great doctor. She listens to everything you have to say and helps. I have moved from Monticello but I drive almost 2 hours to see her. Hope Shes always there.

Dr Barton is a very caring lady, who has great bedside manner.Her office staff on the other hand, are something to be desired. Very poor follow-up, prescritions are wrong every single time I get them refilled (monthly) and one lady, the office manager is very rude. If Dr B was not as good as she is, I would have gone somewhere else just based on the rudeness of her staff.
