Nurse Practitioner Emerson is lovely! He actually calls his patients back when they ask! That is rare nowadays sadly. The front staff are so kind and helpful as well. I am so thankful this doctor’s office is here with Piedmont taking over everything. I hope they stay for a long time. Thank you all for everything.
Great and very helpful!
I have never been so frustrated and stressed at a doctor’s office. I have gone three times within the last year, and it has been very unpleasant each time. Each encounter was for extreme dizziness. I was new in town and read their great reviews before deciding on their care. Upon leaving each time, it would take them until the end of the day to fill my prescriptions at the pharmacy. Dizziness is debilitating. It’s scary and dramatically affects your quality of life and ability to see straight or walk right. Why on earth, if I come into this office in the early morning, would they wait until the pharmacies are about to close at 5 pm to send my prescriptions over and chance it not being filled until the next day? The nurse claimed that the nurse practitioner I had seen that morning would be in clinical for the rest of the day, and she could not guarantee that I would get them before the end of the day but that she would reach out. I said no, that doesn’t work for me. I need them now, regardless of what she has going on. I think it’s just their standard practice being that it continues to happen. The nurse practitioner referred me to an ENT specialist during my last visit. She did not say an appointment would be made on my behalf. She just mentioned a referral. I assumed I would call an office of my choosing and, based on MY personal work/life schedule, would make my appointment with an outside office of my choosing. Instead, this office decided to create an appointment for me at the ENT of their choosing before discussing the time and date with me. I immediately called to cancel the unexpected ENT appointment, which conflicted with my work schedule. I then called Newnan Family Medicine to let them know that I did not appreciate what they did and to only make future appointments after discussing them with me. The nurse called me back with a nasty attitude and said ma’am, it’s as simple as asking them to reschedule your appointment. I said, “oh, I canceled the appointment, but I want you to understand that this does not make sense for you to do something like this.” “You are not respecting my time or work schedule. Let alone my financial obligations,” She responded, “so you don’t want your needs taken care of”? And became even more nasty and condescending as the phone call went on. She was unapologetic and acted as if I had done something wrong to her. I eventually hung up. I was only confronting their obnoxious behavior calmly and politely by letting them know they couldn’t do things like that to people. It isn’t right. (Surprise you have an appointment on a day you have to work, and regardless of your financial means to see a specialist, we have decided this for you!) To top it off, the ladies who work up front are rude and look at you like you’re crazy when you go to check out. The front office assistants are always nasty—overall terrible experience. I’ve given it a few chances now, and it’s only worsened with time. So do yourself a favor and stay away from this office. The nurses and front staff are a joke. This place will cause you more stress than anything.
7 months ago i gave them 5 stars now I give them a 2. This place was an awesome place. Phones where answered, questions were answered. Until Jessica left and then everything changed Jessica was always there to help, answer questions, and explain things. My sister in -laws liason Stacey was awesome now they switched her somewhere else. We miss Jessica and Stacey, Atleast Cassie is still there she is great so helpful knowledgeable and quick to respond. But she can't be everywhere. Wish they would bring Jessica back and things could go back to normal.
The NP Cassie is very nice and takes time to listen!! I hope she stays.
Awosome
Dr Cassie is an awesome Dr. She listens to my fitness goals and put me on a plan to reach them. Ive lost about 18 pounds since we started!
Awesome experience with Newnan Family Medicine. From the second you walk in the door, you feel more like family than a patient. The front desk consultant, Meghan, makes the hard part of visiting a doctors office so easy. Paperwork explained and always finds a way to schedule you around your everyday life. I would recommend this place to anybody!
Very nice facility and polite staff. Makes you feel at home and at ease.
Julie was really nice and took a genuine interest to my concerns
