List of Piedmont Physicians Neurology's Reviews
Dr. GOLI is a great doctor. Nurse was fantastic as well. Felt cared for and understood.
In the last 20+ years, I have taken my son to Child Neurology Assoc. in ATL, Emory Pediatric Neurology, MCG/Augusta University Pediatric Neurology, Emory Brain Health Center Neurology, and now to Piedmont Physicians Neurology here in Newnan. For me, 4 factors determine how I would rate these experiences: Location, Administration, Medical Staff (treatment physician, treatment nurses & nurse practitioners), wait times.Location: 5 Stars... we live in Tanner territory. (Which everyone knows that, in intricate health situations, is a hard pass.) Piedmont Physicians Neurology is a further drive in minutes but is only a 22 mile drive. They are right off I85.Administration: Friendly and perfunctory. Not much more one could ask for... 5 Stars.Medical Staff: 5 Stars... We were assigned "Dr. F" (Dr. Fahridvash) and she is excellent. I've been taking my son around enough - and he has spent enough time in hospitals - for me to know you don't need coddling for a physician to be great. "Dr. F" is friendly, though. She listens. She most assuredly has the credentials. And she handled prescriptions IMMEDIATELY/same day. Her nurse was friendly and attentive, detail-oriented. (And Dr. F was, I've since learned, good enough to leave the Tanner system - lol)Wait Time: 5 Stars... New patient. Had all my paperwork ready (or so I thought) and we still were in a room less than 8 minutes after walking in the front door; vitals taken immediately in the room; treated by Dr. F within a few minutes or less of vitals nurse leaving, and back out the door in the time it used to take me to drive one way to Emory Brain Health. Oh! I was getting texts from the pharmacy before I got back home from the visit!!
Receptionist are not empathetic and do not care why an appointment is needed. They refuse to pass a message to the doctor. Meloney is the only person that tried to help when my daughter got sick
This practice does not have a very helpful staff. Dr. F. is pretty short with her direct comments and is always in a hurry... so much that I have been left with questions. Two occasions I have had staff cancel my appointments due to Dr. F. having had a conflict... I was told I would get a call back to reschedule. They never returned with a new time. When I called back, only to be put immediately on hold, the appointments were scheduled for two months out! I am searching for a new practice in the Newnan/Fayette area. I'm sure my comments will not help change the attitudes of this practice, but maybe will prepare new patients as to what to expect during your visit, or attempting to schedule appointments.
Absolutely horrendous customer service!!! They answer the phone, speak quickly and put you on hold. DO NOT expect a return phone call the same or the even the following day if you leave a message. The "that's not my job" attitude is also very prevalent so do expect to be immediately transferred to someone else once the call taker hears a word that out their purview of tasks.
Had a wonderful visit with Dr. Farhidvash, but dealing with her nurse has been really stressful. She is unwilling to go ahead with a required preauthorization until my pharmacy requests one. She says "we don't typically do this until the pharmacy requests it because we don't know for sure if a medication will need it." While I'm sitting here telling her that I couldn't have this $700 medication filled yesterday, because it's $700, and that alone should be enough information for her to begin the process of preauthorization. She even admitted knowing that this medication, Aimovig, needed preauthorization, but was unwilling to help me get any further with this process. Cheers to a Migraine on Thanksgiving. I'll be rescheduling my future appointments with another Doctor because this staff has been unprofessional and unwilling to be helpful from day one. From loosing the records sent over from my referring doctor, to making my medication as inaccessible as possible, I am sorely disappointed in my experience. No one even let me know about the $5 copay card that is offered by the manufacturers of this medication.
Front desk women here are very rude. I walked in, and said good morning. No response so I said it again, no response. The lady said “how may I help you”. Another day I called and someone answered by saying “can you hold please” then put me on hold for 4-5min without me even saying if I could hold or not. As for my appointment with the doctor, that’s a whole different headache. Any other suggestions?
I was concerned because of negative reviews about rude staff. So after our first visit I wanted to share my experience. I did not have the first issue with any staff being rude, everyone was helpful and respectful. 4 stars from me is like 5, but I never give 5 because we all have room to improve and nobody is perfect.
Unbelievably RUDE and disrespectful staff. This place needs to re-evaluate their employees. They also need to remember they are not the only game in town. Sad to see how customer service and overall LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM is the norm these days. Get it together Piedmont your patients deserve better.
The best neurologist ever! Very professional and knowledgeable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
