I’ve been a patient at this dental office for two years, consistently attending every scheduled cleaning and doing everything I was supposed to do to manage my periodontal health. That’s why it was extremely frustrating and concerning when, after all that time under their care, I was suddenly told I needed a deep cleaning. From the beginning, I was transparent about having periodontal issues, so proper maintenance was critical. Despite that, my condition apparently worsened while being treated here. What’s even more troubling is that the “perio cleanings” they billed to my insurance were incredibly brief—usually only 10–15 minutes—and consisted of what felt like very light, superficial work. I raised concerns multiple times and asked if I could receive more thorough cleanings, but instead of addressing that, I was told I now needed a deep cleaning and more frequent visits—clearly more expensive procedures. Seeking a second opinion, I visited another dentist who took new X-rays and evaluated my condition. Their conclusion was very different: I did not need a deep cleaning, just a slightly more advanced cleaning than standard. That contrast raised serious concerns for me about the recommendations I had been receiving. Based on my experience, it felt like this office prioritized maximizing insurance billing over providing appropriate, thorough care. I trusted them with my dental health for two years, and I regret not questioning things sooner.

I had been going to Aberdeen Dental for the past few years. Cleanings every 3-4 months. I had no complaints. The last two times I attempted to have my teeth cleaned the hygienist refused to clean my teeth. Stopping suddenly and without explanation. The first time I was told I needed a deep cleaning and cleaning my teeth was a "waste of time". The second time the cleaning was stopped abruptly and no reason was given except that the hygienist refused to complete the cleaning. Two weeks later I received a letter stating I needed to find another dentist. Incredibly unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Update: this used to be a place I loved going to but the idea of letting someone go and not notify me of this when I had the same hygienist for years? Really unacceptable and not a good business practice especially when I had a scheduled appointment and traveled a distance for. The practice has changed overtime, Dr. Burke is great and some of the longtime older staff are as well but the newer staff etc. really have driven that place down since Dr. Fleming retired. I have been going to Aberdeen Dental in Peachtree City since I was a child and still make the hour plus drive down to see Cindy! I have tried one other place when I moved and was not satisfied, Cindy is so through and truly cares about the person sitting in the chair. I would recommend her to anyone and Dr. Burke is a good dentist as well (I used to see Dr. Fleming but he has since retired). If you are new to town or just need a new Dental Hygienist and Dentist, come to Aberdeen Dental!

This review goes against the majority of those that have been placed on this site but I feel it needs to be said. First I have great appreciation for the doctors and assistants that work here.They are the best, and I used one while he was at Coweta Denistry and never has a better dentist. The problem here is the company that has brought out this place along with Coweta Denistry. They are very bad about not informing you if you are in network or out of network. They OWN both companies and have different policies at each place, which is crazy but done. I know that a lot of former employees at Coweta Denistry have left and it is nothing like it was before. So make sure you have IN WRITING that they cover your policy at which ever one you visit. They even only cover part of your cleaning here, where at Coweta they cover it all. Tell me that makes sense. Most places cover this 100 percent with all decent policies. So be careful and your due diligence. Good Luck. you may need it.

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new dentist. Everyone from the time of scheduling to walking through the door were very kind, professional and friendly. The doctor took his time to do my exam, listen to my concerns and address everything I asked. I did not feel rushed and the staff is also working to help me get insurance approval for future steps. The rooms are also very bright, clean and with large nice windows to look outside. Thank you for your care and time as someone who has always been anxious at dentists.

I had a great experience here. My hygienist was incredibly thorough and answered all of my questions. I felt that she and the staff were very knowledgeable. The dentist was kind (and funny!) and seemed to care a lot about his patients. Being new to the area, it feels nice to find a great dental practice!

Dr. Burk is an amazing dentist. He talked me through everything and really understood my anxiety of needles when getting a filling. I have never had a dental experience like this before and will highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking. Thank you for all you have done for me and continue to do!

This is my 29th year with the Aberdeen Group. My family has been using them for 32 years. We've had two exceptional dentists and hygienists during that time. The entire staff, doctors, assistants, hygienists, and administrative are extraordinary. Lots of words describe the practice: competent, professional, friendly, and efficient, but we've always felt valued family-members at Aberdeen.
