Dr. Caminear is a marvelous physician, absolutely the BEST!!! More than 10 years ago, after an accident, I had severe foot problems, primarily because a doctor in New Britain "botched" my original foot surgery! One foot was in such a bad condition, I couldn't imagine it would ever feel normal or look normal again. However, I had no idea what a talented, amazing, medical genius Dr. Caminear is - but I soon found out. The operations on both my feet were most successful!. Now they look and feel normal; and there is no more pain or discomfort. And not only is Dr. Caminear a skilled physician, he is a lovely person. He is kind, patient, cheerful, and has an excellent manner with his patients. And his staff is terrific too.

Went to Dr. Caminear for reconstructive foot surgery from failed bunionectomy and hammertoe repair from another surgeon. He walked in the day of surgery yawning and talking about how he had to "squeeze me in before he leaves for vacation". I should have left right then. He ended up placing a pin incorrectly. That night I needed an ambulance because my toe was turning black and the pain was unbearable. I waited til next morning when he had a resident pull it out without anesthesia. That pin was supposed to stay there for 2 weeks! My toe joint fused and my toe has pointed down since I havent walked the same since, which led to a third surgery by someone else. It's been 6 years and still living with chronic pain and unable to work on my feet. His lack of skill and competence cost me a lot. He also offered no apology or solutions. Simply put..if you need a surgery, find someone else. I should have sued. My only regret in life is that I didn't sue.

Dr Caminear is a fine man I met him for the first time and immediately liked him. Great staff too!! He looked at me and told me he would help me. That meant everything. I've been suffering with feet problems for too long. He set up some tests which I will do and then back to him. Quick appt and very little wait. Staff is friendly and helpful Thanks to all!
