List of Selcuk Tombul's Reviews
Won’t listen, preoccupation with other problems, will not call in prescriptions that I need will not set up procedures that I need done at a hospital before surgery can happen.
Dr Tombul has been my primary cardiologist for several years. After I developed CHF, he has helped me considerably through his excellent diagnostic skills and willingness to refer me to other specialists. In particular, he has saved my life twice by these measures. First, I developed a severe internal bleed and blood clots related to Warfarin. He recognized the bind I was in and referred me to a hematologist, who after extensive examination and discussion, found a way to resolve the issue. Second, he diagnosed CHF and a leaking mitral valve and again referred me to a specialist, who recommended replacing my pacemaker with a more capable one. This put me on the path to recovery and restoration of my health to the place I was at before the bleed. He is my cardiologist for life now.
Dr. Tombul is very money hungry! After getting a second opinion will never go back. I recommend find another cardiologist.
Dr. Tombul saved my life. Knee exactly what to order when I presented to the ER in SVT and then a DVT was found.
Dr. Tomball is my cardiologist. He is very professional and to the point in all my dealings with him.
On Dec 7 and Dec 14, 2020 I had radio frequency ablation done on my legs. The doctor had stated in a previous appointment he did not like the color changes in my legs. After having an ultrasound of my legs it was found I had Venous Reflux. After having the procedures, the change in how my legs feel is amazing! I just thought my leg problems was basically because of the arthritis in my knees. I was totally wrong and have really been helped by the ablations.
Sorry excuse for a cardiologist, fired him after he stood us up for a follow-up appt after a Cardiac Heart CATH procedure.
Dr. Tombul identified my issue and had me through surgery in 3 weeks. It usually takes longer than that to get an appointment. He even called me himself at 7 pm on a Friday night to change my appointment.
I saw Dr. Tombul for the first time for about 10 minutes. He degraded me about being overweight and was totally unprofessional. To me, he has a GOD complex and was extremely arrogant. I will never recommend or ever go to him again. From all the other doctors I have seen and been diagnosed, he totally dismissed all of them and told me not to tell the doctors that he said that. I have no allegiance to him. One of the worst doctors ever, so uncaring and no compassion, period! Total jerk!
Seems to care nothing for patients and is confused by what he reads in the patient file. Never going back there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
