Worst place ever
Finally got time to do a review. I wasn't happy at all with this hospital. I had full insurance and they put me into a small room. Nurses was mad that I wouldn't just opt in for C-Section. I never seen my doctor at any appointment nor the day of the labor. She never came. To me this hospital was very unprofessional. They already prep a room for a c-section even though I didn't need one. They told me my baby hearing wasn't good and it was. She was stuck for diabetes 8 times in my presence. I asked why so many times.. They stated they are making sure she doesn't have diabetes because she was so small. I had to ask for food which was very nasty. I end up ordering grub hub. They took my baby away for car seat check and she was gone for about 4 hours. I had to get up and go look for her. Prepare not to see Dr. Royster. Midwives for everything and NP.
Everyone was really nice and professional. My experience was a good one!
Cheerful...😉👍🏾!!!
This Place Is Horrible, We Came In With No One But Me And My Girlfriend In Lobby, We Came In At 11:30 am Nd Was Sitting In the doctors room for 5 hours waiting on just a prescription, while they played and giggled and walked around, I highly recommend you go to another hospital if an emergency
If I can give them a negative zero I would and could. I came to The hospital at about 3:30 -4 with my son crying hurting throwing up from abdominal pain we waited until about 7:00 seen no one so as a mom you not going to set and see your son in pain . We left at 7:00 came back at 7:30 same issue you took blood waited another 4 hour to tell me they need some urine still haven't seen the doctor 🤬 I know theyay not care but I will never come back I would rather ride way out then to come back here
The worst hospital on this entire planet, I’m sure of it. If I could give this place a -5 I would but that’s not optional. I wouldn’t recommend anybody in case of an emergency try to make it to the next available hospital. The doctors and nurses here are not even qualified to take a temperature, it’s as if they were picked up right off the street. My experience here was terrible. They walk around in frantic all day and night because the emergency has high volume AS IF THIS ISN’T WHAT THEY SIGNED UP FOR. They have thee worst attitudes, totally insensitive to others health issues. I don’t think one person there knows what they are doing. I don’t know how they’ve remained open maybe because their the only hospital in Clayton county but At this point give me a pair of scrubs and gloves because even I can work there!!
Nurses Asia And Amita were outstanding each and every time. They listened and were sensitive to me. I will miss them from the 4th floor..Efi I think was charge nurse and she was funny with laughed with me.But low and behold...the night shitftwas the worst and slowest crew including housing and management. 4 hours to mop up urine in bathroom and never found the person for it. I can not understand this... lits a lot of chatter laugher but amongst eachother. At front station. The nurse are not included in this part. Night of after 8pm was the worst. Overall very good place to be. C Royal in 469.. checking out today
Southern Regional Hospital has to be the worse hospital in metro Atlanta!! When I initially found out my husbands surgery was going to take place there, I had major reservations. I work in the medical field and had heard horror story after horror story about Southern Regional. My husbands surgery was scheduled for 8am and he had to arrive at the hospital at 6am. When we arrived at the hospital I was informed that I should go home and wait for them to call me and let me know when he’s out of surgery, wasn’t happy about that, but I returned home and waited. His surgery was suppose to be a couple hours, I waited until almost noon with no call, went back to hospital to discover he was out of surgery but I wouldn’t be able to see him until he was assigned a room. Another hour passed and loosing patience I insisted that I be able to see him and was escorted to recovery. Fast forward, we were satisfied with his care in the ICU for the most part, the night nurses were very efficient as well as a couple of the day nurses, but on the initial day he was to be released, the nurses assigned to him were TERRIBLE!! When I arrived to the hospital his room looked like a tornado had hit it, wrappings from needles, catheters and bandages were thrown everywhere, his blanket was in the floor, the machine keeping up with his vitals was going off and NOT one nurse came in the room from 2pm until 6pm when I left cause he didn’t get release that day. But the kicker was, THREE ICU nurses put his catheter to go home on UPSIDE DOWN!! He heard them discussing that they weren’t sure how to put that particular catheter on and a medical assistant finally appeared later in the evening after my husband buzzed that it was full and needed to be emptied, came in and stated his catheter was upside down and she attached it correctly!!. The communication with my husband that day regarding his release was just incompetent. Apparently his doctor didn’t enter orders into computer for him to be released, but no one communicated that to us. He finally was released the next day, but not before he was subjected to such mediocre care by some of the ICU nurses. I would not ever recommend this hospital nor I will ever agree to have treatment here again.
The experience here for myself is horrible & I would never recommend unless you just wanted to die or had a very low priority issue with absolutely nothing to do in your day. They will have you waiting forever & give false information. The place is completely unorganized & tremendously understaffed. No one seems to know what they are doing which causes an increased amount of frustration for you as a patient. You would be better off googling what you needed aid with before coming here. I would drive all the way to Piedmont before I came here

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
