I went to see Dr. May with my shoulder he did the surgery and now I am much better. By far the BEST dr. I have ever been to. Thank you Dr. May for every thing you did .

Dr. May operated on my daughter’s knee and repaired my rotator cuff. She had excellent results, and mine is doing well, so far. He told me that I should expect it to hurt after surgery. It did hurt, but the pain is getting less every day. My range of motion is much better. He runs a little late sometimes, but his staff is really nice. I hope I don’t need his services again, but I trust him.

Discuss total knee replacement. Appointments are obviously overbooked. When I wanted to ask questions about my upcoming surgery Dr. May informed me while raising his hand and pointing down the hall, “I have other patients to see”. Ok, so the two hours I spent sitting in the waiting room , then exam room , x-rays and paying for a rendered service means nothing. I canceled the surgery. I worried if their were some complications post operatively Dr May would be too busy to address it. Never experienced a physician saying something like that and I’ve been in the health care profession for a few decades.

Great surgeon & staff, Long waits of 1hr+ Dr. May is a talented surgeon who shows respect for his patients and isn't dismissive of their pain. He listened, was never condescending, tried conservative treatments, and proceeded to operate with precision & discrete incision placement. Staff response time to messages is great, no Rx order issues, all questions answered. Office is over-scheduled. Shortest wait was 40mins after scheduled appt. More respect needed for patients' time. Allot 1.5-2hrs.
