No one returns phone calls. I can’t even get them on the phone half of the time. The PA is an absolute idiot.

Just set on hold for 20 mins on a thursday at 1000 am. Then was hung up on. All I want to do is cancel an upcoming appointment but I guess somebody wants to leave for lunch and hour early. I guess theyll know Im not coming when I dont show up.

I was referred by a gyno because of severe recurrent UTIS in 2018. Dr Schrum was in out of the room within 4 minutes for the cystoscope that was ordered only said “I don’t know what your problem is but it’s not your bladder” rudely dismissed himself I was left in the room dumbfounded. The last cysto I had had in 2016 for the same problem was much more in depth but had thought a diverticulum found was too small to be a problem.Dr Schrum never even mentioned seeing the diverticulum.i left the office crying because of his hateful bedside manner. I was so sick he was no help at all. About 3 mo later after tons of research I had my gynecologist remove my IUD send it off to be cultured.It came back positive for MRSA Ecoli.i had to have a hysterectomy because of the IUD I made my former doc repair my bladder the same time.The diverticulum turned out to be the size of my bladderwas holding infection 247. Dr Schrum is rudecareless would’ve let me die I say stay away.

Dr. Schrum has been my urologist through some relatively minor issues but also during a major health crisis prostate cancer. He took the extra time to answer every question provided every possible option and made sure that once I had made a decision we had an effective treatment plan in place. His years of experience as a urologist and his track record as a surgeon put me at ease and I am glad that I trusted him with my health. Dr. Schrum saved my life Thats the best endorsement that any patient can give his doctor.

If you are in the NWGA area Dr. Schrum should be your first choice for any Urology issues especially prostate cancer.

If I could leave a zero stars I would. I was fat shamed in his office by him and was also sent away with no medical care despite a huge kidney stone in my right kidney. Very unprofessional and unpleasent.

Dr. Schrum is very straight forward not a lot of personal interest or interaction. Wait time each time I visited was in excess of 1 hour from time of arrival until Dr. Schrum came in the exam room to see me. When I asked him about this he said this was typical that they are extremely busy. For a person that works this makes it difficult to continue seeing him.
