I have been a patient of Dr. J. Schecter for the last 20 years. I have relocated to other states yet continue to return to him for medical care. He has consistently provided the best care with empathy and relates information to patients on their scope of understanding. He is one of the brightest men in medicine.

Called to make an appointment since the nearest one is in May and the scheduling staff was very unprofessional. I had a referral fro. Where I was in the hospital and I ask if I cpuld bring in my records or have them sent over and they said no that they couldnt get them so I ask if I could have them send over my records to my primary care Dr. And yet again they said no

He was an absolute self centered jerk. I have occipital neuralgia and small seizures no epilepsy and he told me not to worry he would take care of me. I won’t go into all the stupid things this doctor did but the last straw was because I was on medicine for my seizures that required you to see your doctor every six months. He wasn’t doing this and I asked my pharmacist about it and he was very upset and said I had to see the doctor. When I saw the doctor he told me he didn’t think I needed it anymore and refused to refill my prescription. I went to my primary doctor that afternoon and got my prescription filled a new doctors name and my doctor was not happy with him at all

My visit with Dr. Jay was typical of most doctors. He took the necessary time as most are on a strict schedule. He was thorough and informative regarding my condition concussion and what can be expected. Office staff was pleasant. I would recommend this prayice as to date.
