Good Doctor She took the time to explain things to me in detail.
Negative 5 stars. If you aren’t familiar with pain clinic protocol I highly suggest looking for another doctor. This office is a textbook pill mill. There’s a reason they are so busy and they will remind you of it often. Carla the nurse has no code of ethics the staff are not helpful it’s impossible to make an appointment with a doctor after the consultation declining a checkup sometimes randomly for a nurse to drug test count andor refill pills is not allowed there’s no phone call to discuss test results there’s not a human to talk to if there’s a concern and if these rules and many many many more aren’t followed you get a letter from the doctor in the mail kicking you out of the program. This office is strictly business and it’s booming. I was warned and I should have listened. Except for Dr. Mezz and the insurance lady my experience has been nothing but difficult frustrating and a waste of time and money. Apparently I unintentionally broke a rule and I definitely got under Carla’s skin but based on numerous other reviews that’s common. I got 2 letters kicking me out of the program before I even made it to my first appointment It was a shock but also a relief. I am looking for an alternative treatment to pharmaceuticals I want to get my first diagnosis and treatment plan from a specialist I want to be treated with respect and I don’t want to waste years jumping through hoops to improve my quality of life. This clinic is not that place.
My parents 75 and 72 years old were just dismissed from Dr. Mezzatesta because the office couldnt confirm a nerve ablation for my mother 72 years old on the day it was scheduled. My father called the insurance company while they were in the office and found out that it was approved and let the staff at the doctors office talk with the insurance company. After the woman got off the phone with the insurance company she told my parents that it still was not approved until they had paperwork. The office manager I believe her name is Lisa is very rude and condescending. She then told them they had been dismissed and Dr. Mezzatesta would not see them anymore. There was no real reason for this other than Lisa got mad about this situation. My parents tried to talk to the nurse and the Dr but Lisa would not let them. My father has been a patient there for TWELVE years and my mother for EIGHT years. This place has gone way down hill the past couple years.
She wasable to see the horrible pain I was in and offered a shot in my back in the office to help my pain and gave me one medicine that I thought was strong but it didnt touch my pain she saw me two days later and gave me a stronger medicine and got me in to see a surgeon in one week and in two weeks she got me into surgery. She pushed for my pain relief to get the surgery that soon. I am eternally grateful to her for fighting for me to get rid of my screaming pain.
Absolutely amazing physician. Always listens to every concern and is very personable and she is up on all current interventions. I highly recommend.
I gave 3 stars on bedside and time simply because she is very proficient and doesnt WASTE time. If you need a lot of chit chat may not be for you. If you want professional expertise from someone who genuinely cares about your health shes the one. I drive well over an hour to her office.. worth it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
