Dr Gilbert was kind enough to work me into his day after hearing I had a mass in my bladder. He was compassionate empathetic knowledgeable reassuring and kind. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and follow through in scheduling me for surgery. I highly recommend. Easy on the eyes as well.

Great experience from check in to check out That office is more than just clean. They have the best customer service. Dr Gilbert was so helpful and help ease my husband’s anxious feelings with showing empathy and helping each step of the way. I’ve been a patient for almost 4 years and for 4 years I’ve had moments of excruciating pain passing multiple stones and was treated as an inconvenience. I’ve passed 4 stones in the last 9’months during a pregnancy everytime I had a stone I was treated poorly. They didn’t want to deal with me because I was pregnant. My OB consented to treatments however the only solution Dr Gilbert his NP saw was to put in a stint for 20 weeks. No thanks. Dr Gilbert his NP’s never showed concern. They told me my pain wasn’t that bad. And that I should pass it painlessly. WHAT IN THE WORLD Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Worst experience of my life.

Worst experience of my life. I go in for a kidney stone and get told by the nurse that I probably already passed it and if I hadnt it had to be really low to come back IN A FEW WEEKS and check it again.fyi I was told by the radiology department here that you can rarely see a kidney stone on an xray or ultrasound that a ct scan is the only true way. Never got one and the only reason they knew the stone was still present was because of how swollen my kidney was Came back was told still couldnt see it and it had to be low but surgery was required. Go in for surgery and am told because it had been there so long it couldnt be gotten and left it and inserted a stent. That it was really high right outside the kidney and the tube was swollen shut to the point nothing would go in there. This had to include the stent as I urinated blood the entire almost 2 weeks it was in with intense pain. I had to call and schedule my next appointment as they did not. I asked to see the doctor was told he would be on on my appointment day. Go for appointment and was told I couldnt see the doctor that my appointment was with the nurse and he had other patients and couldnt see me When I ask the nurse why she waited so long she LIES TO MY FACE and says that I told her I thought I passed my stone. As a side note if I thought I passed it WHY WOULD I BE THERE? After this infuriating encounter and expressing my concerns of blood and pain I was refused any pain medication and was scheduled for the next week to remove the stent and stone. Go for surgery and spend 8 hours in outpatient surgery after arriving an hour early at their request because he was ahead of schedule. Then after waking I find out I have another stent to remove myself and the first thing the nurse says is that the doctor cut the string way to short and was barely sticking out and that I may have to have someone at his office fish it out. Of course this caused extreme pain and irritation the 5 days that it was in. I was told the nurse would tell me how to remove it after surgery and I was told by the nurse she didnt know how. I finally managed to get the stent out and I would like to Express thanks to Dr. Crane for actually talking to me after the second surgery and telling me how to remove it and trying to comfort me. As for Dr. Gilbert and caroline I hope to never see them ever again in my life and would really like to see them in court over the whole ordeal. How do you not know how long to cut a string? If you are having kidney stone issues GO TO CARTERVILLE or anywhere else your kidneys emotions sanity and livelihood will thank you

Horrible His nurse practitioner found my kidney stones because he was in to much a rush . Then was rude and told me my pain was in my head. Next day I went back and he was out that day and his nursempractitioner had me rushed into Emergency surgery because she said I would lose my right kidney that Gilbert didnt look far enough down.After surgery he had to come back because my stint had come out. He was Angry because it interrupted his supper and got in my face
