I can't say enough positive things about Atlanta Arthritis Center PC. Dr. Smitherman and his staff have always made me feel comfortable and cared for as a person and a patient. Currently, I am under the care of Heather Grafton, NP. I absolutely love seeing her! She has been amazing. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had with a provider. She truly hears me, answers all of my questions, no matter how many and makes me feel understood. Dr. Smitherman always has as well.

Dr. Smitherman is wonderful and so is the rest of his staff. He is thorough, a great communicator and after years of no progress from other doctors with my RA and Fibromyalgia, I am beginning to feel better. I finally have hope! Both he and his staff are prompt, answer all my questions. I can't say enough about them!

Dr. Smitherman takes good care of my mother through all the years she has been going to him. He makes sure Medicare covers her medicines, in-office procedures, medical braces and equipment. He's always been truthful with her and makes sure her RA is treated effectively.

This was my first visit with Dr. Smitherman. From check in, to labs, to Doc everyone was so kind. Dr. Smitherman took his time and was very thorough with his evaluations, and assessments. I left feeling like we had a good care plan in place. I’m thankful for the positive experience and trust the care I received!

I have been a patient at this practice for over 15 years. Dr. Smitherman pretty much brought me back to living with RA rather than suffering from it. If you are looking for a caring and passionate professional to help you with your illness, come to Atlanta Arthritis Center. The staff, especially Tasha, is always so helpful and friendly. Thanks so much for such great service!
