Dr. Hwang listened to my anaphylaxis story and was very informative about what to expect from here.

My concerns came when discussing payment. The staff called prior to the appointment and would not inform us of the amount that would need to be rendered for the visit itself. Then at the time of appointment, we were made to feel that we could not afford the payment and rather than informing us initially of the amount, we received the runaround about the amount and what needed to be paid today. It made us very uncomfortable, payment was not the concern but rather how the information was delivered. I would urge the staff to work on effective communication with patients in the future rather than making them feel uncomfortable when discussing cost.

Dr. Hwang is one of the most amazing doctors I have ever seen. She takes the time to listen super well, which helps her treat the patient correctly. She is really outstanding.

Since I don’t have “typical” allergies, finding a doc that could actually help me was a daunting thought. She was spot on. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She listened and acted quickly and thoroughly to help me feel better from something that is difficult to diagnose. I’m glad I found her!

New to GA and originally went to a larger, well-known practice. Didn’t have a great experience, but Atlanta Allergy was suggested and I gave it a try. Completely different experience. Dr Hwang is methodical, detailed, listens. She took time and didn’t rush. Very deliberate about developing the work plan. Personalized care with the benefits of a larger practice. Multiple locations, extended hours 2 nights/week for injections, etc. Great experience.
