Website (sleeplandlungs.com) is still allowing new patient appointments, but Dr Akinnusi is NOT accpeting new patients. There was no followup from his office - I had to call to find out.

Dr Akinnusi saw me in the ER for pulmonary embolism this past wk. He was kind, informative, patient and caring. He explained everything to me in terms that I could understand and answered all my questions. I was in the hospital for 2 nights and 2 days-in that time he made rounds both days in the morning and was just as kind and helpful as he was in the ER. He was available via phone the 2 times my nurse had to reach I'm in order to approve additional meds. I thank God he was there at the ER.

Horrible experience - He disregarded all information about my parent, did not show up rounding when we were there all of the time, missed putting orders in the system and was upset when we escalated as my parent took a turn for the worse due to negligence and is now dead.
