First time I called to schedule an appointment, I hung up after 30 minutes of hold time on the phone. I'm currently on hold again as I type. Now over 30 minutes on hold again. Wellstar Imaging is further reflection of the poor Wellstar services I've received, except for one doctor and only reason I'm tolerating this mistreatment. I do not and will not recommend this Healthcare System to anyone!!! UPDATE: 49 MINUTES ON HOLD AND NO ONE ANSWERED. CALLED WELLSTAR CORPORATE OFFICE - THEY SENT ME TO A NUMBER NO ONE ANSWERED!
hard to reach anyone to schedule an appointment. Their message says that you can schedule an appointment online through My Chart. But you can not! They don't give you the right options to select.
If you are pregnant and experiencing bleeding, please avoid going here. All they will tell you is you are having a MC, take blood and then you will get a $1400-$1800 bill. I waited an hour to be seen while bleeding. It took me passing out to be seen just for them to send me home with nothing. No medicine, no advice. One of my friends had a friend with similar experience and they waited so long to see her she had to get a blood transfusion due to the amount of blood she loss. Please go somewhere else if you are in need of immediate attention and wanna speak with knowledgeable, caring staff.
This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. The doctor basically told me he's there to keep people alive and your not dying. I told him my ear hurt really bad he didn't even look at it. I told him my throat hurt he didn't even look at it. The nurse swabbed my nose said I didn't have the flu. I left , these people are just horrible
My Emergency Room experience was horrendous. Rude check in nurse, extremely rude insurance/paperwork gathering lady. I was placed in a separate room because I had the flu, and I totally understand that; I asked for some water and the lady at the desk who gathers insurance information was rude, had a nasty attitude and un-empathetic demeanor. I assumed folks that work at a hospital would have a bit more empathy. Then I got a bill for $2000.. It's quite a paradox.
I gave birth here on 1/3/20. The nurses and midwife was great! However I was not informed of a lot of things. Like how to discharge and an issue with the birth certificate. This is my first child so there was a lot I didn't know. I was rushed out the hospital. I only came here cause I wanted to have a water birth, my son had other plans. I don't think I'll be giving birth here again.
We took a family member here and needed a medical check before transporting to a Rehab facility. In this crisis mode, we were trying to determine where to transfer to. We explained in great detail to the nurses that we would need Dual Diagnosis treatment. A "Peachford Rep" was there and came to do an evaluation. We were promised all kinds of things including individual and family therapy. All of this was a lie. Do not let them advise on where to send your loved ones. Do your own research outside of their recommendations. Contact and get recommendations from AA or NA members who have been through this. They will be a lot more reliable and authentic than a company who just wants to bill your insurance. The Peachford experience was another joke amongst several lies and I will be doing a review on that also.
No wait in ER. Quickly took my vitals/labs & sent me for DR scan. Admitted with large kidney stone. Shunt inserted next day. 4 days IV antibiotics before being released to home IV antibiotics for 2 months. Hope to get stone/shunt removed soon. I have immune issues that slow recovery. Staff at hospital were great.
I have unfortunately been here twice. It is not my "hospital of choice". However, this review is strictly on the emergency room treating an emergency. Both times I arrived and was immediately taken to triage for vitals. I was treated with respect and compassion. After being placed in a room (not a fancy or quiet room, but not just a triage curtain like some), I waited roughly 15 to 20 minutes before meeting my nurse and shortly thereafter being joined by a doctor. Both times, I was in immense pain and found relief via pain medication promptly. Both times, the nurses also had the IV in correctly within 1 or 2 pricks - which is quite an accomplishment with me! The doctor did a great job involving my regular physician via their emergency office line. The person who wheeled me out wasn't over friendly, but the rest of the staff really seemed to care, provided relief for my pain and stabilized my condition(s). I received a survey the next day from the hospital asking for feedback, which is more than I can say about several of the general practices I have been to here in GA. I am happy that we have a local option for emergencies and at this time would feel completely comfortable taking myself or family back there if needed. I understand others haven't been as fortunate with who helped them at this ER, but I am grateful for the help I was given and hope they continue to provide care to others in a similar manner. Thank you Wellstar at North Fulton!
This is absolutely the worst hospital emergency room we've ever been to. It started with a very condescending, dismissive, rude triage nurse by the name of Jeff. Dr. Lider and the nurse Jess who was working with him were nice. However, after over 4 hours of waiting, which does not include the 1 hour it took to see the doctor in the 1st place, we hadn't gotten my son's test results back. After 5 hours I had lost my patience. I summoned a nurse and told her that we wanted to be discharged. Lo and Behold, the doctor shows up 5 mins later to give us the results. Take my advice: If you have a choice, I recommend going elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
