List of Roswell Surgery Center's Reviews
Bravo Roswell Surgery Center and Resurgens Orthopedics! Yesterday, I had arthroscopic surgery on my left knee for a torn meniscus, and though it’s too early to comment on my overall recovery, I want to compliment each of the health care professionals who, working seamlessly as a team, made my day great!! 👏⭐️👏⭐️👏 To a person, caring, engaging, experienced, competent, and efficient, the patient-friendly service delivery team could not have made a better impression! 👍👍👍 Individual accolades as follows: Resurgens Scheduling - Joanie - consistently responsive and accessible by portal and phone for scheduling, and most understanding when patient is unexpectedly sick and needs rescheduling! 🙏 Resurgens Documents - Michael - covers all details concisely and coordinates with pharmacy - very knowledgeable and caring. Pre-assessment - MJ - great first impression for Roswell Surgery Center, very personable, and careful to explain my responsibilities and specific timing for next steps. Reception/admission - Danielle - cordial, knowledgeable, efficient! Prep/clothes/shave/scrub- Tracie (from Pittsburgh!) - reassuring, practiced, and understanding that no-patient needs, wants, or is able to tie a bow on a gown behind their back! 👍 Nurse - Sandy - one of a kind! covers both admin forms and OR procedures seamlessly (who does that!?!? 🤷🏼♂️😄) so we could talk about good stuff like working-out and running 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♂️and not even feel the IV💉 Anesthesiologist- Dr. Richman - studied, meticulous, conveying expertise and confidence; so we could discuss global 🌎 travel adventures, instead of me dreading never reawakening! 😱 Pre-surgery - Paulette - attentive, proactive, treats patient requests joyfully - can even find more pillows! 😃 Surgery Anesthetists - Krysy & Abby - gleefully and safely wheeled me to the operating table, and capably provided a most restful sleep! Good hats too! OR Tech - Ninice - so friendly and had OR room looking hi-tech and spotless! Resurgens Surgeon - Dr. DeFelice - the epitome of “the good doctor!” - carefully assesses individual patient priorities & options and expertly delivers results while I’m snoozing. 😴 Post-Surgery - Gina - exactly who you want to tell you “wake up, it’s over, all is well!”, and prepare you to go home, put your feet up, and instruct you to watch golf for the rest of the day! 📺 ⛳️🏌️♂️ Many thanks to each of these wonderful dedicated and selfless healthcare professionals who help make our lives better everyday!
Wonderful place to have surgery, I would recommend!
Everyone was so kind, caring, and compassionate.
Excellent staff. Very kind and informative. That place runs so well.
I can’t speak to their medical care, but their pre-op procedures are so disorganized, disjointed and uncoordinated that I’ve rescheduled my surgery for another surgical center. They’ve called incessantly with questions that are sometimes related, sometimes not, often repetitive. They clearly do not have a good system for preparing patients and paperwork for surgery and add immensely to the stress and anxiety of an upcoming procedure. I’ve had approximately 15 surgeries, large and small, and have never dealt with such a scattered, uncoordinated, clunky prep system. No thanks — my doc can (and has) performed surgery on me at a place that has its act together.
The most disorganized, disjointed, inefficient, clunky pre-op procedures -- including anesthesia prep -- that I've ever encountered after having more than a dozen surgeries. They're clearly overbooked or just unable to handle pre-op procedures in an efficient, comprehensive, systematic way that doesn't repeatedly disrupt patients' lives or add to their stress and anxiety. Can't speak to their actual medical care ... I ended up booking my procedure somewhere else.
Very well run facility and great people along the way. I had back injections there about 2 years ago and yesterday rotator cuff surgery. It's rough, but I was well informed and taken care of.
I was not happy to have to go all the way to Roswell to get shots in my back and my son had to take off work to take me. I will say, once I got there, my attitude changed. I was treated/helped by some wonderful people, but I didn't get an email survey to say how much I appreciated their kindness and care, not to mention how quick it all was. Here's my thank you to Dr. Finklestein and his team I had Carina checking me in, Lorin was preop nurse, Mark was nurse through procedure, Daina was room tech, and Kate was PACU nurse. I'm sure I'll be back for more again, but this time, I'll know ill be in good hands so it will be worth it!
I am not sure that anyone can call a visit to any surgery clinic can be enjoyable, however the the people that attend to you can make or break the outcome of the procedure. The crew, or should i say team. that tended to me on for during my recent surgery was incredible. From Shirley in check-in and Patty my Pre-Op Nurse, Alice and Dr. Eppihart and Patricia my sleep specialists, to Resecea and Mimce and Chris my O.R. techs. (Sorry if i have misspelled anyone's name or missed anyone.) I could not ask for better care.I would be remiss if i did not mention the best "bone cutter" in the business Dr. Jeffery Albert. Kudos to all involved.
Would love to leave a zero star. Staff was fairly nice. But no pre-op was done or required. I was taken back for surgery in my street clothes with a hospital gown over them. Only took my sock of the foot they were operating on. Apparently they don't care about sterility of the surgery suite. I was woke up. The nurse put my shoe back on my other foot and wheeled to the facility door. Expected to use crutches immediately after surgery to get to our car. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
