My experience was awful. Back in January I was diagnosed with clear cell renal carcinoma, which grew to 15.cm by the time it was taken out. Thankfully I did have him do it. He actually came into the examining room totally unprepared, he had not even looked at my scans. He had an accusatory tone. He could not believe I did not feel it in me, or see blood in my urine or loose excessive weight. This was picked up by my PCP after finding microscopic blood in my urine. He then went to show me where it was, that I should be able to see it. He could not locate it or feel it. He then informed me I had stage 4 cancer and the difficulty that he would have removing the tumor. Without going into too much detail, he was going to chop me up, failed to mention he was going to remove a rib. I left there in despair, my son and husband who were with me recorded his lack of compassion and matter a fact attitude. He then went on to say he and only one other surgeon in the Atlanta area could preform this

Seems competent but I had some issues with my experience. Saw doctor 3 times and each time he was in a rush to leave the room. Asking questions felt like a burden to his schedule and if he had to elaborate on anything it seemed like an annoying chore to him. I have non-visible blood in my urine as well as frequency issues which I explained on the first visit. I had to re-explain my frequency issue on the day of my Cystoscopy procedure and ensure he planned to check my bladder capacity, otherwise I think this would have been missed. After the procedure he explained I have an inflamed prostate and tried to leave the room after 20 seconds. I have a recording of the audio so I know I'm not exaggerating. The only reason he spent a total of 1 minute and 10 seconds with me was because I was trying to ask questions (which is difficult coming off anesthesia). His response to my first question was "I just explained it to you." The nurses were pretty great though, as they usually are.
