I spent 4 weeks in this facility, 2 of them on a ventilator in ICU. While I can’t speak on things that happened during my slumber, I can speak of the treatment after. Nurses. The nurses in this hospital are angels in disguise. The ICU nurse who took care of me for a few days and the nurses on the patient floors. Especially the 6th floor. They go out of their way to help, to talk to you, and to spend just that extra few minutes of their hectic and busy days and nights. You are all greatly appreciated.
This hospital is killing my dad! They went o remove his ventilator without pumping his stomach.. guess what happens when someone stomach is full and you remove a ventilator… they throw up and the t he vomit causes bacterial pneumonia! Terrible terrible . We attempted to have him moved to a different ICU at a different hospital and they told us we needed a court order and the cops showed up. They know what they did was wrong…. This is just terrible! Dr King is terrible. Run from her!
This hospital is so concentrating on covid they can't treat other medical conditions until they harass you to take covid test or vaccine. Hello, there are other issues besides covid. Wont ever go back. April Talbot, taken by ambulance for difficulty breathing and husband ran out of building because I wouldn't take test.
Every time someone leaves a bad review, there is a great review. Anyone see a pattern here?
Outpatient surgery. Great experience from admission, nurses, anesthesiologist and surgeon. Thank you to all of the staff.
Well my mom's there has cancer. Last night I spoke with a doctor that was seeing mom. He told me as sick as she was I could stay with mom. Ok so I pack my stuff go there today. They gave me sheets and stuff to make my bed. Then at almost 8 security came and escorted me out!!!
This past afternoon my mother in law and husband took my little sister in law to the ER for a mental evaluation, for an emergency she had... and well where do I begin... After hours wait knowing this little girl took something to hurt herself, they ignored her and made her wait. After all this goes down and they get sent back to a rude and unbothered nurse therapist who acted like he just wanted to get them out as soon as possible. Didn't care what they had to say putting words in the little girls mouth and just being plain insensitive. Once he "decided" that the best course of action is to send this little girl to a mental hospital and not being able to explain why, without even evaluating her correctly and ignoring what her guardians were saying he went to get some Dr. who was incredibly aggressive! To the point of calling security because my little sister in law wanted to hug her big brother goodbye, and trying to intimidate my husband with security... security was actually pretty nice but the medical professionals if you can even call them that were absolutely uncaring and insensitive.
The ED patient rooms are disgusting. I took my mom to the ED and the bathroom trash can had not been emptied from the last patient. The mirror was dirty as was the bathroom sink. the floors were extremely dirty and when I walked on them my feet stood to the floor. The nurse placed an IV in my mom's hand and some of her blood droplets fell onto the floor. the nurse left the blood on the floor as well as on the table next to her bed. I mentioned how filthy the room was and I knew when Piedmont took over they cut cost but did they actually cut the housekeeping staff? He said " housekeeping doesn't work on the weekends" I said it doesn't look like they work here at all. I took pics but there is no option to post here. this filth is unexcuseable especially for a hospital. I remember when before Piedmont took over you could eat off there floors. Shame on you for allowing these rooms in the ED to get this dirty.
Had a surgical biopsy today. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing everyone was. Doctors and nurses both. So sweet and funny. Put all my anxiety to ease & took amazing care of me and my mom. Called to give her updates during the surgery. Dr. Gunn & his team are heaven sent. I can’t thank them enough!
Great experience. COVID was never an issue there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
