Rude first time in my life a doctor took a phone call during an appointment. Yes really Dr. Burkle did that. Muttered an insincere apology. I knew right then I was never going back I dont care how well qualified or how many good reviews. Besides hes not a great communicator.

He may be a brilliant doctor but he has zero bedside manner and doesnt explain things well. When I ask about a condition I want to know what it means for me personally and if it can be reversed or mitigated. Instead he will give a scientific dissertation about the condition. Although his credentials are impeccable I will look elsewhere for a cardiologist.

Overprescribes medication and lots of unnecessary tests. Doesnt communicate well. Rude and condescending.

Have seen Dr. Burkle for 3 years for AFib. The office lab and staff are always courteous and efficient and I’ve never had a long wait. Dr Burkle is straightforward regarding diagnosis and treatments. He answers all my questions and explains anything I have concerns about. I’m very confident with the care I’ve received.

I have been using Piedmont Heart for the past four years Dr. Jamie Burkle has been my cardiologist. He has a gentle bedside manner takes the time to listen to everything you have to say he makes sure that you understand everything that he has said to you before you leave the office. All his staff is friendly and helpful and respectful. The office is very clean and up to date. I would recommend and I have Dr Burkle yo my family and my friends.
