List of Piedmont Physicians At Roswell Road's Reviews
Members of my family have used PPG docs over the years. Dr Marcus is an excellent, caring physician. However the operation of the back office is awful. No one reads their “patient portal” for questions, meds refill requests, etc. Messages left on the phone go unreturned. They are never able to work in an appt for a sick patient and we’re told to go to an Urgent Care. Really?
No scripts sent to pharmacy, when I told them that my insurance ENDS at the end of the month!
DR. BURNHAM!!!!! Wow!! When I seek a PCP I seek a best friend. Someone who I feel comfortable with, someone who I can be open, honest, and myself with! Upon our first meeting that is exactly what Dr. Burnham gave, peace, comfort, and ease! I trusted her, I felt good with her! There’s no words to express how great she made me feel, this practice should be forever grateful to have such an amazing person in office!
Unorganized staff and Dr. Artis sucks. Very impersonal and doesn't seem to care about what you're saying. I scheduled an in-person appointment, which she switched to a virtual appointment for whatever reason. She was 15 minutes late for the appointment then pretty much told me she wouldn't request my documentation from another doctor because "we close in 20 minutes." So the quality of my appointment has to suffer because you all decided to schedule an appointment at the end of the day? Just terrible.
You can't reach anyone on the phone and the doctors act as if they don't care. I was sent to take an x-ray. Once I finally figured out where to go, no one was even in the department. It's hard to believe this is suppose to be a professional place.
I’ve been attending Piedmont for a good few years now, and have always had a pleasant experience. Physicians and all other staff I’ve interacted with have been polite, empathetic, and professional.
I had a very good experience here from start to finish. It was quick, painless, and I felt like I was genuinely cared for by not only the doctor, but the entire staff. Dr. Marxer was very knowledgeable, kind, and did a great listening to and addressing each of my concerns. I was very pleased.
I just move down to Atlanta and I needed to schedule an appointment for a primary care physician. As everybody knows, that can sometimes take a long time to get on a good doctors calendar, who is accepting patients. Instead I had to leave work in the middle of the day and take off just to show up to the office and get told that Dr. Marcus is not there. Ironically enough they send a message out a couple days before the appointment making you confirm the appointment as your time is so “valuable.” Truly disappointed I wish I could give a low class doctor like this zero stars.
Very bad about renewing medications
Horrible! Not only did they re schedule my appointment to a virtual appointment LAST MINUTE (took off work for nothing) they had me waiting 40+ minutes for the virtual appointment. Which was a bust as they couldn’t see or hear me but I sure heard them! Dr April appeared frustrated & stated she did not care if the virtual appointment worked & I’ll just have reschedule.. not knowing I’m hearing all this! Then she called me on the phone & we continued that way in which she did not seem the least bit interested in my problems. I’m so mad I should’ve canceled & hung up in her face, but I’m in desperate need to know what’s going on with my health... which she was no help. She’s a scam.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
