After 17 years, 2nd opinions are NOT allowed. I had been a patient of Dr. Michigan from 2005 to 2022 but after I requested a copy of my recent medical records, I received a letter telling me I wouldn't be allowed to see any doctor in the office. Attached were the names of a urologist on Hilton Head and another in Statesboro. The reason, as Dr. Cox told me, Michigan had "botched" a procedure to remove a kidney stone.

My only complaint is they're too busy!! Dr. Cox's team was so helpful and informative, displaying empathy and courtesy to my husband who is not medically inclined. They educated him with each visit which made his upcoming surgery less threatening. I wish I could name ALL of them, but Ms. Patel and the LPN (?Gloria) were wonderful. I didn't go with him, that's his fault for not remembering names. And, sorry he asked so many questions, he was very nervous!! Overall, despite the wait to have surgery, I give Dr. Cox's team 5 STARS!!

My husband is a patient of Mr. Michigan. He is a wonderful doctor and the office staff is professional and efficient. It is a busy office and they do a great job.

Dr. Andrew Michigan is a very knowledgeable doctor that listens and answered all my questions. He's very professional and caring. Our wait time was minimal and I'll be more than happy to recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Michigan was very helpful in addressing my questions and attending to my urological exams. I would also like to recognize the great bedside manner of the doctors medical staff as well, namely Dawn, Patricia and Sheri for their kindness and care while waiting for the doctor.

Impossible to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Their office personnel who make appointments are unhelpful and unprofessional. When I first called they would not allow me to see any doctor other than the one I had seen 10 years ago because I was an established client of that doctor. However this doctor could not see me for 5 months unless I had an ultrasound showing my condition had worsened. The fact that I was in constant pain apparently was not enough of a problem for these people to warrant any advancement of my appointment. When I asked if they could request the ultrasound so I could get seen sooner they told me I wasn't an established patient and they couldn't. But apparently I'm enough of an established patient to only be seen by this one doctor who is booked solid for five months. What a bunch of nonsense.

Dr. Andrew Michigan was very knowledgeable as well as reassuring that he and his staff were going to take care of me. He answered all of my questions about receiving a vasectomy and he also gave me information to read at home in case I had anymore questions.
