In brief little to no compassion or empathy. Inappropriare demands with ULTIMATUMS regarding treatment and living placement of an elderly he just met. One of the most capable vibrant and fiercly independant woman I have ever known. Has never had fall injurires or any injury relative to age. Spends time in the yard working everyday. A LOT of it. Makes me wonder what his agenda is. Maybe investments in the assisted living facility? Not sure but after he dismissed a relative with no explination after getting a new doc for the initial patient it was time to make the doctors bedside msnners known to save others from the experience.

This doctor has the worst bed side manners. He doesnt have the patience it takes for his clients and their family. On our last 2 office visits he was very very very nasty and indifferent. The only good thing I see in his office is his nurse Donna.

Dr. Ben Watson has been my husbands doctor for many years. His bedside manner is above reproach. He has always had time to sit down and answer any questions my husband or I have. We have always been treated with dignity. Southcoast is the ideal medical center to treat any illness with professionalism and compassion.

This man does not deserve to call himself doctor. He is rude and hateful. My mom is 85 and has been his patient for 10 years. Yesterday he would not even listen to her complaints. Told her she is 85 and needs to deal with the age related issues. He said he can’t help her. I feel like She should be able to have quality of life with help from her doctor. However she left there crying with no answers.I will not allow her to return to him to be abused again. He should stick to politics where is attitude fits better.

I recently was admitted to the hospital for chest pain. In the morning when doctors make their rounds Dr. Watson was one of the first faces I saw. Never had that happen before but I did appreciate it.

Feel very fortunate to have Doctor Watson as my primary physician he is thorough direct and cares about our health. Well run office in all aspects.

Accompanied an elderly relative for a followup visit. We waited in the examination room for more than an hour after her scheduled appointment time. His bedside manner is awful When she tried to discuss an ongoing health issue that had been referred to a specialist he told her he wasn’t going to discuss it. The man is her primary care physician He is responsible for overseeing her care. He treated her like her mental capabilities are diminished. They aren’t. Can’t believe geriatrics is supposed to be his specialty.

Dr. Watson is a very humble thorough physician that goes above and beyond. He is not my primary care physician but I was lucky enough to get an appointment with him when I was very sick. He was able to not only accurately diagnose and treat my symptoms he made sure I had a referral to the appropriate specialists who were able to contact me the next day to get more thorough care. I feel very thankful for Dr. Watson and SouthCoast Health.
