I had two surguries done by her, one for a partial kidney removal and 4 years later the whole kidney was removed, and was very pleased with how everything turned out. I feel very fortunate to have had her as my Dr for those procedures and for the follow ups ever since.

Dr Buffi Boyd preformed robotic surgery on me for an enlarged prostrate. She was so caring and reassuring that I couldn't have been more pleased with her and the outcome. I actually feel very lucky to have had her as my surgeon and doctor. I told her that in person on my follow up exam when my stitches and catheter were removed. It's rare to have a doctor that is so concerned about her patients that she works an incredible amount of hours that start early and go late. The minimal invasive surgery had me feeling very well with in days of the surgery and with in a week nearly back to normal with restricted lifting and excessive exertion I was doing most of what I had done before the surgery.

This “doctor” turned her back on my Mom when my Mom needed her care the most. Why there are uncaring, callous, cold hearted people such as Boyd who get into this profession is truly a mystery to me and this is a sad reflection on the health care system today in our country. What an unethical and shamed dereliction of duty.

Dr Boyd is a phenominal physician. It’s very rare to find a female Urologist and I was fortunate to be treated by her. She is well respected by her peers as well from my brief discussion with hospital staff they all adore her. She is compassionate, listens to your story and explains in terms you understand and comforts you that she will help you. Many Thanks to Dr Boyd for her services to this community.

At 60, I never had surgery and my wife and I didn't know what to expect. Buffi answered all our questions during our initial consultation. I saw her the morning of my surgery, then two times after my surgery, before I left the hospital. I know people who had the same procedure I had and only saw their surgeon one time, the rest of the visits were handled by PA's. Buffie obviously cares about her patients and has a great bed-side manner. I don't even know if she has PA, if so I never met them..I hope I never need a surgeon again but if I ever do I hope I get her.

I had to get a kidney stent put in before chemo, & then removed after completing chemo. Both procedures went well. She was great at answering all my questions & explaining things to me. My time with her never felt rushed. She also communicated well with my oncologist & surgeon. Would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Boyd did a partial nephrectomy for cancer for me in 2005. She is efficient and caring. I have been following up with her ever since.

I was seen by Dr. Boyd for 2 years and she tried everything possible so that I did not have to have surgery, but as a last resort, surgery was preformed and she made me a stoma. There was no problem w/ the surgery other than I needed 2 pints of blood. I am so happy with her and continue to see her yearly for my check up's now. I recommended her to my daughter when she needed her care, my daughter was a MS patient. My daughter also had an excellent outcome with Dr. Boyd. Dr. Boyd is great.
