I cannot recommend Dr. Stouffer enough. We met Dr. Stouffer as he was the consulting cardiothoracic surgeon who read over the testing that confirmed my need for my bicuspid aortic valve to be replaced. Dr. Stouffer's bedside manner was impeccable; he took his time to carefully explain the results of my testing, providing us with different options without pressuring us, and patiently answered each and every question we had. Even though it was late, he didn't rush us and at no point did we feel as if he was anxious to leave; on the contrary, he was kind, compassionate, and patient. When I had questions leading into my procedure, he called me within a few hours to ensure my questions were answered fully. The staff at his office has quickly responded to all my needs. I had open heart surgery four weeks and am recovering well at home. I feel better than before my surgery and have Dr. Stouffer to thank. He is a gem in the Savannah, GA area. I cannot recommend him enough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Stouffer. He took a chance on my father, when other doctors tried to convince us my father would never make it through surgery. The surgery was a success. The journey to get to Dr. Stouffer was scary, but we later realized God directed every step, as He always does. My mom was the only one allowed in the hospital, due to Covid policies, but every day she would tell me how compassionate and involved Dr. Stouffer was in my father’s treatment. We will never forget him. In my eyes, he has never forgotten his calling, nor the beginning, when he first wanted to save lives.

Just Superb! I had a failing Aortic Valve replaced in July 2016. Dr. Stouter is the most personable Dr. I have ever met. He gave me his personal phone number so I could call him at any hour of the day or night when I needed his help! I would recommend him for anyone who has any type of Thoracic Surgery needs! Just Superb!!!

Very good at what he doe and took the time to answer all of my questions. Office staff not helpful at all except for the office manager (Melissa), she is very helpful.
