Pay no mind to Margaret. She said she gets in her own way sometimes… looks like she’s doing it again. Unless you’re going around with a white glove like it’s a military barracks inspection, there’s really nothing dirty to be seen. It’s an older building, but the office is very clean. Waiting room and all. Dr. Rittmeyer is also a fine doctor. We’ve been patients of his for years and as medical professionals ourselves — we think he’s very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

The office entirely is very nice and welcoming. Love it here.

Visit was very brief. Tests that he requested have not been scheduled over 2 weeks after the appointment. Medicine prescribed was not helpful and when I called to tell them that and ask about status of tests being scheduled I got no returned phone calls over 10 days. Finally got someone to answer the phone and they said that they would send the test orders over “again”. I am not convey they were ...

I have been waiting since December to get a letter of medical necessity sent over to the company we use for my daughter's formula, it is currently May and they still have not sent the correct paperwork. I have spoke with several people from Rittmeyer's office several times A DAY and still nothing! The office manager is never there and when I did speak with her, she said she would handle it. That was weeks ago and now she's "out of the office for a while" according to other staff. I have been paying out of pocket for my daughter's formula since December at around $800 a month. The office definitely has room for improvements starting with staff and management that can actually do their job.

One star removed because I did not find the building itself to be up to my cleaning standards. I want to love and trust this establishment. I am a protective parent and I often get in my own way. The establishment could use a good cleaning or remodel. That was the first thing I noticed. When I think doctors office I think clean and I mean clean. This building did not live up to my expectations. However, Dr. R did. He was professional and made the whole experience a little less stressful for our child. We are grateful for Dr’s such as himself. He informed us what we thought was a major issue was just a backup. He did seem extremely busy which is sad. I hate to see doctors running around like crazy. We will return for our follow up.

Dr. Christopher is one of the best Kids’ GI doctor in Savannah. He actively listen to your concerns, care for your issues and gives you the best course of action to follow. We had a visit Today and it went very well. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Rittmeyer Is hands down THE BEST. For 1, he deals with BOTH of my children, both had to be seen within weeks of being born as they are allergic to the protein within formulas. My children after seeing him did much better. The wait depends on when, and how you’re booked, if you booked and appointment on Friday, and wanted to be ‘squeezed’ in then you should expect a wait, at ANY practice. If you chose a better day, different things happen. He is always kind and does not push medication but instead works through different areas to ensure it’s not something underlying. I think we should be worrying about if kids get better not if you had to wait an hour for him to help your kid. Because at the end of the day; he’s helping! He’s the only specialist in Savannah & even serves South Carolina as we are right along the border. Be grateful..

I have been twice and both times there was minimal waiting and the staff was friendly. I do have trouble getting through on the phone but other than that no complaints so far. I have been reading these terrible reviews and I haven’t seen anything that has been mentioned. Don’t let these reviews deter you from this office.

I've had to come here 2x and each time waited to be seen over an hour, in which I had an appointment. The staff is friend but the Dr isn't very thorough and the visit felt rushed. Find another GI for your child, if possible.

The staff was polite, but the doctor was extremely unprofessional & not kid friendly at all. Don’t waste your time going here.
