Jessica Kang's Online Review Report Card

I am highly disappointed with this physician before we could even see her. My daughter scheduled an appointment via the online portal and completed all paperwork. We never spoke with a live person until en route to a 10:15 appointment. At 0925 we called to advise the office we were stuck in traffic, but will make the appointment in time(10:15). At that time Lynn, advised us that we would have to reschedule because of paperwork we should arrive 30 minutes early. I advised her we were unaware of this policy, that we completed their paperwork online, and she is a lifetime Memorial Health patient. She said, “Ok, see you when you get here.” We arrived at 10:10 to be told Dr. Kang refused to see this first time patient that already filled out paperwork online, and is currently in the Memorial Health network. In my opinion, if a patient made a STAT appointment and completed all requirements virtually some consideration should have been made. The office manager was very pleasant and said she would talk with Dr. Kang; however, at this point her mannerism and lack of compassion was damaged. I am thankful that another physician within the practice willingly offered to see my daughter. Not to mention as we sat and waited three other patient came in apologizing for being a little late because of an accident. I pray that Dr. Kang was just having a bad day and it gets better for her in the hours, days, and months to come .

This is the 2nd time they've scheduled my appointment for the wrong time and I've had to wait an extended time to get a new appointment. Schedulers really need some training or something.

I love Dr. Kang, not only is she thorough, but also Professional, Personable and kind.

I love love love her as my primary care physician. Great attitude and care.

Dr. Kang is going to be my new primary, however I am very concern about some of the reviews I have read, I will get to see if it is true about her and the staff!

I arrived & filled out my paperwork with enough time to still be early for my appointment. Like many here, I was sent home for not being early enough. I’m just thankful this was an initial visit and not a serious issue. I would hate to think that people with major problems are being turned away for being early. If you plan to set an appt for 8 but Dr. Kang requires patients to arrive 30 minutes early, just set the appt for 7:30.

My first experience was great. Follow up appt was quick and I didn't feel as if I was a valued patient. Since then I haven't been able to speak to the Dr regarding a prescription and it doesn't seem like one hand knows what the other is doing. There is a lack of communication in the office and I don't feel comfortable with the responses I have been receiving or that there is an urgency in responding. Very disappointed in the approach

Dr Kang and her entire staff - both nurses and office - are amazing! After relocating to the area, I'm so happy I was referred to Dr Kang. My interactions with her show how much she cares. And just today, her office staff (Adrianne) spent time very patiently with me on the phone to help sort out my prescriptions as well as a referral. Thank you!

Dr. Kang, has always taken whatever time it takes to resolve my medical issues. She listens and advise accordingly

Dr. Kang is truly a great physician. I love how caring, professional and knowledgeable she is. Additionally, she does not hesitate to get to the bottom of a matter. She does not dismiss what concerns her patients. She has a wonderful staff too. Thank you Dr. Kang and Staff.
