List of Joenie Almeida's Reviews
I've been seeing Dr. Almeida for over 15 years. He's great. He's not warm and cuddly, but I don't need that in a doctor. I need one who tells me I've gotten fat, which I have, and that I need to lose weight and helps me do it. If I email him, he responds within 24 hours. Don't know what all the whining is about.
Despite my expressions of excruciating pain and discomfort, Dr. Almeida was neglectful and apathetic in all of his dealings with me. I had to beg him to refer me to a specialist and when I got in contact with the specialist he claimed to have had referred me to, they showed me they recieved no such referral. If you have medical concerns that require thorough care, I fervently advise AGAINST seeing Joey Almeida. I have recieved absolutely no help from him or any of his supplementary staff with the exception of one person working in the lab.
I asked for a call back because he was busy in the Doctor Office. Dr. Almeida has called me an hour after the Doctor Office ended. I have been his patient for 11 years and have already been to the hospital a couple of times where he visited me before he went to his doctor's office.I would recommend Dr Joenie Almeida
Not a bad doctor if scheduled way in advance. But don't count on seeing him if you get sick and need to see him that day or even the day after. We've had multiple experiences. The doctor seems over booked and under staffed. The office procedures also seem to be a barrier to getting to see the doctor or even getting a call back. However, the folks there are very nice and friendly. But, nice and friendly doesn't guarantee medical treatment when you need it. I hope they will evaluate their processes, procedures and staffing to alleviate this aggravating situation. In the meantime, bite the cost and go to the ER.
I've been seeing Dr. Almeida for 15 years. I think he's great. He listens, and his bedside manner is just fine.
Dr. Almeida was extremely rude. He did not introduce himself to me on my first visit. When asking for another option for a medication I was on he asked, "What do you want me to do?". He kept going on and on about my weight gain even after I explained that medication caused the weight gain (a medication that he had never heard of apparently). His bedside manner is just awful

Worst Doctor I have ever seen. Very arrogant and dismissive. I had pain in my abdomen & high blood pressure. His only concern-my ER visits. After see other patients he came and told me I needed to go to the ER. Yes, the same day that he was suspicious because I went to the ER twice in 1 month. End diagnosis- my temperature peaked at 108! I had an infection. He NEVER CHECKED BLOOD OR URINE. A simple test he was too arrogant to order because he had his mind set that there was nothing wrong.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
