Julio Cortes's Online Review Report Card

I am so grateful to Dr. Julio Cortez and his staff for the excellent care I received at their Savannah South Coast office. Within a few short hours they put a complicated puzzle of symptoms together diligently search for the root cause made a diagnosis and provided a comforting course of treatment. They emphasized the serious nature of the diagnosis ITP while offering a positive course of treatment and great hope for resolving this health challenge.I can not say enough about the kindness shown byDr. Cortez and each of his staff members. Each member of the staff without exception went out of their way to provide excellent and compassionate treatment.This group of health care professionals was an answer to my prayer. Excellent. Was worth the wait to get to the bottom of my problem.

More than 50 mins late to appointments and does not return calls or voicemail at all. We will be looking for a new primary care. Dont waste your time and find anyone else. Very unprofessional.

Healthcare isn’t a human right in this country so when a doctor doesn’t refill a patients prescription that the patients needs for life they are then putting the patients life at risk. I’m not talking about opioids or some simple antibiotics.

This guy stinks

If you value your time and don’t want to wait well after your appointment time this is not your place. I sat and waited for 56 minutes while watching 2030 who showed up after I did go back. Finally I had enough and asked what was going on and then for my copay back and left. The staff could’ve cared less or I would have probably stayed. This may be the norm at this establishment but my old PCP whom Dr Cortes was to replace would have never allowed this.

Dr. Cortes has an inexcusable manner . Very tell direct. Labeled me as noncompliant when the truth is I couldnt pay for the meds prescribed and he made no effort to find an alternative. He himself as well as the South Coast group push patients for unnecessary test even go as far to tell you you need it but its not coverd by your insurance and get you to pay out of pocket. Then once it is done you guessed it never discuss the results . No compassion no concern for patients care all about making a buck it seems.Avoid this practice at all cost

Unimpressed and I havent even met him. Currently waiting 40 minutes past my appointment time. Asked the front desk if this is common got a smirk and a Cortes is always late as an answer. Inexcusable behavior from a doctor as I am sitting here missing pay for this late appointment.

My parents came in yesterday and were seen by Dr. Cortes. They were extremely impressed with the amount of knowledge kindness and caring service he provided them. He was able to identify my dad’s heath issues in a very quick manner and immediately took care of them. My parents are super grateful to him and wanted to share a few words of gratitude to Dr. Cortes and his staff. God Bless

He lacks bedside manner compassion. He speaks in an accusatory manner gives no time before jumping to his own assumptions. I wouldn’t recommend this “doctor” to treat my dog let alone another human.
