Maryanna Barrett's Online Review Report Card

Any doctor that tells you during a pandemic, while you’re pregnant, that going to work would make you feel better after complaining to them that you have not felt well for over a week, shouldn’t be practicing. On top of unnecessary annoying remarks about never meeting my husband (she had, multiple times). She and her nurse practitioner called my child an accident when I was asked about conception. I’ve had a issue with them at every visit. That’s been my experience with Dr. Barrett. It got to the point that late in my second trimester I couldn’t take it anymore and I switched doctors as fast as I could.

Dr. Barrett is genuine, very kindhearted and a true professional. She makes you feel at ease when speaking with her, answers all of the questions you may have and doesn't rush you, nor makes you feel like just another patient. She really cares about you and any concerns one may have. I will continue to trust her knowledge and compassionate nature to the fullest. I highly recommend her.

I absolutely trust Dr. Barrett. She is very professional and efficient. She is also very kind and knowledgeable.

She is the best OB and best doctor that I have been to because she listens to you as not just a patient but a person. She makes you feel like a person and doesn't rush you as if she has to get to the next patient while you're telling her your concerns. She is patient, gentle, caring and friendly. The same goes for her staff. The overall experience at this office is always very pleasant.

Dr. Barrett is hands down one of the best OBs and doctors I've ever been to. She is definitely my favorite doctor in Savannah, GA because she is always patient, gentle, caring and treats me like a person rather than just a patient. She listens to my concerns and explains everything to me in an understandable way. Her office staff is also very helpful and friendly, which I have found is often not the case in Savannah, GA. They have never failed me in times of need.

She is compassionate, listens to you, gives feedback that shows she listened, helps in every way possible and her staff is great (friendly, polite and effective). She makes you feel like a human rather than just another patient she has to see that day. Every time I've been there, my problem was solved. I would highly recommend her.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Barrett is. I came to Thrive OBGYN when I got pregnant. I am a first time mom and although I tried not to be, I was that annoying patient who required extra attention and reassurance near the end of my pregnancy. I was experiencing some difficulties near the end and felt very cared for and safe with Dr. Barrett. I have never felt rushed or dismissed during my appointments. Dr. Barrett delivered my baby and the post partumn care has also been fantastic. Her staff (Georgia at the front and Tiffany in the back) hav always been wonderfully attentive also! Note: At Thrive OBGYN if you are pregnant you generally switch back and forth between seeing Dr. Barrett and Dr. Paasch (twin sisters) for your appointments. I assume they do this so that when you deliver you are comfortable with whichever of them is on call. Dr. Paasch is equally wonderful and I would have been happy and confident with either of them delivering my baby. I received great prenatal care from both of them and highly recommend Thrive OBGYN.
