List of Meghan K Mcgovern's Reviews
I found Dr. McGovern to be a very caring and thorough doctor. She always took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. She is a very skilled and compassionate person, and I feel very lucky to have had her as my doctor and would not hesitate to go to her for any future procedures.
Dr. McGovern is very skilled, honest and informative. She takes time to answer my questions. Dr. McGovern will also be honest with me if she feels a procedure would not work well with my anatomy or skin type. I like that kind of honesty, why waste money! She may suggest something else or not. I had cancer on my scalp and she did a fantastic job removing the cancer, suturing the wound - you could never tell I had surgery! I recommend her highly...
Love her work, respect, and her staff is awesome!
I cannot say enough how wonderful my experience with Dr. McGovern has been. I did extensive research on finding the right doctor, and went to consultations with several other doctors. After speaking with Dr. McGovern, I knew she was the doctor I would choose for my breast reduction surgery. She has exceeded all expectations. I had my surgery two weeks ago. I was so impressed with the professionalism of Dr. McGovern and all of her staff. I had a concern after my surgery which needed the doctor to examine me. Due to the Christmas holidays the office was closed. I called and left a message on their office phone, and within 5 minutes Dr. McGovern returned my call. She said she would be happy to meet me at her office. I was so impressed that she was willing to come and meet me on her day off. That just shows the care and concern she has for her patients. I feel truly blessed to have found such a caring and compassionate doctor.
Dr Meghan and her staff are amazing. They answered every question I had before, during and after my surgery. I will never go anywhere else.
Dr. McGovern is so nice and friendly and very informative. I had to call her after hours due to a stitch popping (due to a sneeze) off of my lip and she answered her phone sooo quickly and addressed my concerns. Her staff is very friendly as well. I will be going back for my regular check ups.
My wait time was ridiculous. Ii felt as though just because it was a consult my appointment wasn't important to them or they scheduled too many people at the same time. If some patients were running late then they should've had to wait. Once I was back there Dr McGovern listened to my wants and concerns. She then provided recommendations on the procedures needed. Told me what was doable and how many procedures it would take. I'm waiting to see what the insurance covers. I traveled 3 hours to her office because she's easy to talk to and she is hands on.
Dr. McGovern is amazing. She and her entire staff. In June, I had a tummy tuck with lipo to the flanks and when I tell you this wonderful woman did an amazing job, please believe me. You may not find a ton about her online, but trust me, I went with my gut and I am so proud and glad that I did. My incision is beautiful. It's barely there! She doesn't do what you will see on YouTube, like have you take your incision tape off at 2 or 3 weeks. Her techniques are great. My belly button is perfect. My shape is coming in nicely! I'm 3 months Post Op and I still have my tape on my incision to help with keeping the scar (that's barely there) flat. My entire first 6 days were painless, which is mostly unheard of. That's because she includes something that will keep you numb on the inside so you won't suffer in your first few days. Exparel is what it's called and its not an option. Why? Because she cares about her patients having a good recovery experience! They know me by my previous last name, Brown. The after care is fantastic. Her personality is to die for. Her staff is just amazing. Her OFFICE... CAN WE PLEASE talk about those two offices she has. BEAUTIFUL! The woman is an artist & creative (literally...she must be a Sagittarius like me LOL)! Her taste is just top notch. You feel like you've stepped into "The Real Deal superstar level zone". She has LA quality in lil' ole Savannah and Statesboro! Okay I could go on forever, she's just that great. The photo is just me trying on things that I have NEVER been able to wear. I am 7 weeks Post Op on the photo, a bit swollen which is normal, but hey...if you saw the BEFORE...baaaabyyy you would know this is 110% better. I still have a few stretch marks but who cares. My shea butter and frankincense seem to be fading those too. Imagine what I look like now and I still have a ways to go. I'm enjoying the ride to the one year mark! Okay that's enough! Oh and I usually review everything but under a different profile. This one popped up because it's the email I'm in. Just FYI :)
Went to get lipo in mid area and back and the results were just terrible. When I went for a followup, and i explained I wasn't happy of the results she brushed it off and didn't even offer to fix. Will never go back to this facility. Money and time lost with this facility.
I visited Renewal MD initially to have my skin tone evened out. I have several dark spots from old acne scarring. I was told that we would start with a procedure that offers some peeling and would help cleanse from within and would offer some lightening of the spots. I agreed with the need for deep cleaning /healing and any lightening would be a start. I took lots of pics and saw no changes in coloration after the first procedure and $800. I cometed a survey sent by the office. I expressed my disappointment in the first treatment hoping to discuss alternative options that would give me the results I was looking for. At my second visit I was told "we were not a fit" my the staff working with me and directed to drive from Savannah to Statesboro if I wanted to discuss the rejection with the doctor. After a word play, tip-toe conversation about how I hurt the staff member's feelings I was told that the Dr and I wanted different things. I wanted even skin and she wanted health from within. To me it was like asking for highlights and having the stylist tell me natural is better/healthier and refuse. I asked if she was saying I just had so many skin issues (in her opinion) that she didn't think they could achieve results that would make me happy and the Dr said pretty much. I thanked her for her time and apologized for being honest in the survey that send me. I left feeling that the Dr thought I was too ugly to help and that my feelings weren't as valuable as her staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
