"Horrible bedside manners. Unprofessional and judgement is questionable. When informed about concerns pertaining to my grandson(s/p appendectomy on 10/16) who was hospitalized at Memorial and not receiving proper care from nurses at night, he verbalized to me "well you're here aren't you". No staff should ever delegate ANYTHING to a family member. He then proceeded to say to me "he is getting the most pain medicine on this floor". How inappropriate. He makes you feel that you can't voice concerns or retaliation is inevitable. He disregards your concerns,over-talks you and basically ignores you. I do not find him to be a "safe" physician and provide unbiased care to African Americans

Dr. Hamrick and the staff at Savannah Pediatric Surgery did an excellent job during our initial consult appointment. We were taken to the exam room very shortly after arriving/checking in and saw Dr. Hamrick within 10 minutes of getting to the exam room. Dr. Hamrick did an excellent job of listening to our situation and explaining what our course of action was to address our issue. I feel very confident in Dr. Hamrick and the staff at Savannah Pediatric Surgery.

I really liked my provider and his attentiveness to my family's needs. He really listened to our concerns and put my mind at ease. He was very thorough in his explanations of the procedure as well as the recovery process.

Excellent Dr and staff. We had a terrible time between our pediatrician and a GI Dr in Macon trying to get a referral sent and appt made. We kept calling to see if the GI Dr received the referral and after having to call and leave several messages someone finally called back and told us that we had been calling too much. That is completely unacceptable to me being in the medical field myself. ANYWAY, We got right in with Dr Hamrick office. After consulting with him and determining that we needed to move on to Dr Rittmeyer who is the GI at the same facility, he got us right in . But He was compassionate, listened to our problem and concerns and put us in the right direction .The office staff was super nice and helpful as well.

I would definitely recommend Dr Hamrick to anyone he's been amazing with my son Adam through the 2 procedures done on my child and making sure we understand the procedure

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Hammrick! After seeing 2 other doctors without any answers or a fix, Dr. Hammrick understood our sons condition and laid out all of our options. He took the time to answer all of our questions and adress all of our concerns. Dr. Hammrick is a very caring doctor and I would highly recommend him!
