List of Norman L Yates's Reviews
I met Dr. Yates at St. Joes. He was to be the surgeon to do my emergency carotid endarterectomy. He was very friendly and warm when he talked to me about what the procedure would entail and what to expect afterwards. He greeted me in OR. His visits at the hospital after surgery were daily. Hes very sweet and caring. Today I saw him at his office twoweeks postsurgery. He released me back to my normal daily life. Dr. Yates is a wonderful man who saved my life. Your life is safe in his hands.
Correction. Five star happy. Did not intend 3 stars. Intended 5. Very easy to talk with. Very happy with the results. Thank you for helping me with the veins in my leg.
Very easy to talk with. Very happy with the results. Thank you for helping me.
Dr Yates incorrectly diagnosed me as diabetic within 3 seconds of entering the room. Waited for 2 hours as he requisitioned and reviewed imaging from my recent auto wreck. Came back in and ordered ultrasound didnt say why or what for. When I approached him about making an entry in my Short Term Disability and FMLA claims foot was purple and 12 again its normal size he became irate and began to berate me telling me that Yes Id been in a wreck and got hurt. It happens. Get over it.
Doctor Yates literally saved my life 5 days after my stroke. Due to his advise I am healthier than I have been in years. Recommend Dr. Yates highly as now my only Doctor or for anyone needed with a Vascular expert.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
