Been my internal medicine doctor for a decade now, and is the best I've ever had (I'm 66). Knows his stuff, listens, is concerned, and blunt when needed (it's easy to fall prey to supplement marketers). Bonus: Calls me at night when a concerning lab report reaches him. How many doctors do that? His office and staff work well, nice location out of the city (hence, no traffic or parking issues).

Have moved away from the Savannah area and one is the things I miss most is the excellent care provided me and my husband by Dr. Barrett and his staff. So difficult to find a new PCP!

Dr. Barrett is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, very thorough and takes his job and responsibilities very seriously. He takes plenty of time with you during his exams, discussing the results/observations and listening to your questions and feedback. You never feel that he's in a rush. If a lab or test comes back with something of concern, he'll call you himself to discuss it rather than having his nurse or office staff call.

Dr. Barrett is the BEST doctor in the world. He takes time with you and he listens. If he does not know or specialized in an area you're having issues in he always refer you to the best. Every doctor that he has sent me to rather it's Neuro or pain specialist the referred doctor has the same kind of heart as?Dr Barrett does. It's amazing. Dr. Barrett will call and follow up on you and your illness. Just the best internal medicine on this side of heaven. My husband, my son who's 21 and I shares same experiences and love for this great Doctor and his staff. His assistant Heidi is amazing. She has the genuine care and love for patients. Dr. Barrett nurse Tosha is great and caring. Well might as well keep going. The front office is also the best. If I had an award to give Dr. Barrett it would be the Number 1 internal medicine family doctor on this side of Heaven.
