Avoid this doctor and practice as though your life depends on it. I was unfortunately referred to this doctor by the veterans administration (VA) for removal of skin cancers. He was given my skin cancer biopsy results but refused to remove the skin cancers. His nurse said the reason he could not remove the cancers was because the VA only authorized a skin check. I told his nurse that I also had Medicare and Tricare. His nurse still refused to schedule me an appointment with him. Doctors are only as good as the staff that surround them. When nurses cannot apply common sense then the entire practice fails dismally!

Dr.James is an excellent surgeon. Allison is an outstanding nurse! Can not thank you enough for removing all of the basil skin cancer from my face.

Excellent doc and staff. 5 Mohs procedures and counting (11 procedures on face other places) ... he did great work and I'll continue to come back. Coming from a 43yr old female with a lot of basil cell cancers that just love my face.

I'm so happy I was sent to dr James at the MOHS skin cancer clinic in Sav ga. The nurses and everyone els that works there were great to me. Did surgery on my face . Removed all the basil cell cancer. I thought my face would be full of scars. But it turned out great. What a great doctor! What a great staff! I didn't feel a thing. So happy I have this clinic for the future! What a great experience. It took my fear away from future surgery if needed in the future.. thank you doctor RICHARD JAMES AND STAFF wish I could give you 10 stars

I found out I had some skin cancer and was advised to see a MOH's surgeon. This was a real rough patch and scary time for me. Dr. James and his staff all listens, give advice and are supportive. The office bldg is very nice, comfy seating area and has plenty of parking. I can't recommend any MOH's surgeon any higher.

Was not sure about the MOHS technique when I went to the office. Dr James spent the time to explain the procedure in detail and then provide me assurrance that the odds of success were over 95% and I would probably not need plastic surgery ( the operation was on my face). Althought the procedure does take a little longer, I felt comfortable that the cancer was gone when I left the office. The staff was great and he did a fine job. 2 weeks and you can't tell where the surgery was.

Dr. James Jr. is extremely professional and has an absolutely wonderful bedside manner. He is very thorough and is a true expert in his field. He came highly recommended to me and I would recommend him as well.
