The most unorganized backwards office and staff. Omg...

I had a good experience in the Beaufort office. The wait was short the skin check thorough and professional. All staff were friendly and helpful. No issues here. I did not personally meet Dr. Sidney Smith on this visit but his staff in this particular office do a great job.

fantastic doctor and he has started a fantastic practice where he has trained everyone in it to see cancer better than any other groups around. Everyone I have sent there has been very very pleased.

Terrible experience. The NP I saw for an annual skin cancer screening found a sebaceous cyst on my back. When she removed it instead of doing the procedure the way Ive had other ones done at other offices by making a straight incision and scooping the cyst out she cut a big hole in my back. She then told me to put Vaseline in it for a week. In 2 days time it started burning very bad. I went to another clinic and found it was extremely infected. The Dr there stitched it up and put me on an oral antibiotic. I don’t recommend anybody to go to this office. My experience was awful. Even the 50 minute wait time should dissuade anybody from going there. There are good doctors available that don’t try to save time by not doing a procedure correctly. Pic included will show a white line below the hole. That is the slight scar from having a previous cyst removed.

My daughter was seen in the office in Jan 2018. There was an amount that was due after services were rendered and was never contacted and was sent to an address that was not even on file I called the billing manager which tells me that they make NO ATTEMPTS to call the patient to get correct information or try to even get the funds before sending it to the collections She stated it is the patient responsibility.....a little difficult to pay a bill if it is being mailed to an address that you never lived at I asked why there was not phone call attempt since the address was being returned mail and she said they just dont do that. Now that my account is with Lanier Collectioin agency for $100.00 almost 2 years later I would recommend that you BEWARE of your billing and be prepared to deal with a billing manager that will not help you or even want to accommodate with you. Very very disappointment Will not be a patient there at this point.

I am a Registered Nurse so I tend to be very critical of physicians and office staff. Dr Smith is an exceptional physician with caring professional nursing staff. He listened to my concerns and biopsied an additional lesion during a Mohs procedure. This second lesion was also basal cell CA overlooked by a different dermatologist. His staff worked with me to find a plastic surgeon one not only covered on my insurance but one that would be able to tackle my challenging repair. I highly recommend this physician and his staff.
