This center specializes in Hematology and Oncology…Dr. Chengappa and her team are highly skilled, Very Polite, Patient, and they listen to your needs. Her uniform is crisp, the office is new and well kept with a view of the city of Atlanta. Their lab test back fast and accurate. I will be stay with this team for follow-up care. Highly recommend.

I was given the incorrect appointment date. I have tried to call the number no less than a half dozen times and it says the number can’t be completed as dialed. Additionally, when I went the person who placed my IV blew the first vein, couldn’t get it right the second time and the third time she placed it in a place right near the top of my wrist and bottom of my hand. It made the procedure extremely I comfortable and over a week later my hand still hurts. The doctor and nurse were very nice which is why I didn’t give a 1 star.

Beware if your doctor refers you to see the Hemotologist here. You will be billed twice. I got a bill from the Institute and paid it and received another bill from NorthSide Hospital with zero explanation on the bill. The charge before insurance kicked in is $258. I had no labs done. I had one conversation with the doctor and left. Just very routine. When I asked what the $258 charge covered all that anyone could tell me was "clinic visit" and "admin fees" so just know that walking into the buidling is going to cost you over $200 and that has nothing to do with the bill you will get from the actual doctor. If you get labs done it will be even higher. I have no issue with the doctor. I just want people to know that unless you've already hit your deductible it will cost you about $300 total, more if you get labs so be prepared for those charges.

Good location and nee! Jennifer, the imaging was most professional and made sure I found the location! It was a little difficult to find it on Google so that's why I added it in yelp. Definitely recommend it for those that live in Smyrna. Very convenient and lots of free parking!

By far the worst medical experience I've ever had! in Cobb hospital, dr munjal was fantastic, outpatient douglasville with the blonde dr was a nightmare! I'm on oxygen and they told me come in at 10:30 for a 11:25 appt (switched to 11:45 all of a sudden when after 11:25 I asked what was going on). I was there at 10:45 (receptionist said 11 was fine). I wait forever, they do blood work, and the dr comes to tell me all she's doing is bloodwork even though I'm fresh out the hospital and was supposed to do another infusion that day along with a shot of b12. I got pissed. I'm home bound. I'm on oxygen and a million other stuff. I asked why couldn't they order the labs and then discuss it during the first visit? why am I paying $25 for the visit, to pay to draw blood, and then pay so they can tell me it's low. this dr didnt even read my chart! she thought I had a blood transfusion (nope), that I only got iron once (no), that my iron wasn't low (it was), it was only low from being in the hospital (it's been low for 6 months)! then she said let her print my paperwork so she can explain it...lo and behold, everything was low! so she went from saying i wasn't truly anemic to then printing me info about anemia. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! they wanted me to come in two weeks after for the results. I went to my pcp right after, she put in the order, and 3 days later you know what my results were? I'm anemic, my iron is low and my transferrin saturation was 7% (its supposed to be 20-50).

I feel like I an being taken care of by the best and most knowledgeable Doctors and nurses. They have a spotless facility and treat everyone with grace and respect. I like all the staff they are all wonderful especially Luke, Robin and Chandra. Thank you all so very much for taking me in for my treatments after Coliseum closed their infusion center. I would recommend Georgia Cancer Specialist to everyone. Thanks Jessie Crawford

Dr. Munjal and staff are kind, considerate and efficient. If you need more time to talk and voice your concerns it is no problem to ask for it and receive the time needed. For me the locations are convenient and the staff is the best. They work with Northside Hospital so if you need financial assistance for medical concerns they work hard to find it.
