Allan Freedman's Online Review Report Card

As a physician before I go to another doctor I research other physicians very carefully. The vast majority of the comments I found about Dr. Freedman were positive. I was not disappointed. His approach was very analytical his manner empathetic and his explanations and reasons for what he planned to do very thorough. Yes he knew I am a physician but my feeling is that this is his approach with every patient he sees. I can certainly recommend him.

Dr Freedman was referred by one of my other doctors and I am glad he did. He is very informative and forthright about my treatment options. A good listener and bedside manner. I am confident in his abilities and treatment approach. Staff is friendly and helpful. Waiting times from waiting room to the time Dr Freedman sees me is very good. Office procedures appear efficient and organized. I would highly recommend him.

Dr.Freeman made me feel as if be had my best interest at heart I truly feel God placed me in his care.From the front to the back everyone that works there made me feel they took my condition serious and that they were concern about my recovery. I thank God for creating a man named Allen Freeman.

Dr. Freedman is professional and unemotional. He is is a difficult field where he deals with people suffering from life threatening conditions day in and day out. He does not sugarcoat his findings and perhaps that puts patients off. I was at first but came to deeply appreciate his candor. His diagnosis was right on At a recent follow up appointment 7 years post op for colorectal cancer he took extra time and actually diagnosed a serious issue that was being ignored by another type of specialist. I highly recommend this Dr. to any and all who might need this type of specialist.Hes great

I have recommended this doctor many times and will continue to do so. He treated me for colorectal cancer. He is absolutely tops in this field. He is not a sugar coater but took time to educate me and my wife about possibilities and probabilities. Eight years later...the cancer has not returned. Still going in for check ups

My husband and I went to Dr Freedman for a consultation after a bilateral mastectomy. The cancer had spread to my lymph nodes. Concerned it may have traveled elsewhere in my body we asked how we could be sure. Dr Freedman responded we wait and see if something else shows up. But how could we be sure we pressed? chemotherapy treatment is different for different stages of breast cancer. Im an oncologist. I treat cancer youll be fine he responded. Uncomfortable with this we sought a second opinion. The second oncologists response to the same question was Well do a PET Scan before we start your treatments. It had indeed traveled past my lymph nodes to both my bones and liver. Thank God we went to another oncologist in my case had I stayed with Suburban Oncology it would have been a death sentence. I only had three small locations and now I have a good fighting chance. Theres no telling how advanced it would have become untreated for months or years until symptoms started to show up and it was discovered.
