Geetha Jonnala's Online Review Report Card

I have being going to Eastside for years and most of the time it's an hour wait, which is bad enough. Today was an hour and a half! And who know how much longer it would've been because I finally had to leave and reschedule when I still had NOT seen anyone by 12:30. After an hour drive there, an hour and half waiting and hour drive home, that was a huge waste of my day and huge dent in my schedule only to have to go back again for my rescheduled appt. I'll be sure and set aside more time away from work 🙄 for my rescheduled appointment.

The only reason I've selected 2 stars is for Dr. Jonnala. She is knowledgeable, and always treated me with respect. HOWEVER, I spent 2 weeks trying to get in touch with her. The front office is extremely unprofessional and will never return your calls despite leaving countless voicemails. If by some miracle you do get an appointment.. they are quick to pawn you off on their PA which will do the bare minimum. Extremely disappointed in this office and have since found a much more professional office.

Dr Jonnala as well as her PA Tika Alan are outstanding. They take the time needed to answer questions and both are very professional and proactive in my treatment.

Office staff doesn’t return calls. Seldom answers the phone. Trying to get office to send in a form to express scripts. Didn’t send it in to my knowledge. I gave up. Horrible service by the front office.

Where to begin, there’s so much, Dr. Jonnala and her Dr assistant are very kind to your face, but if they don’t want you back for whatever reason the staff will make it so Difficult to the point that you will Want to leave! Tika her assistant nor her staff will Not call you back, after 2 weeks and 6 calls to this day I have yet to get a call back, yes it is so obvious they don’t want me there, if I were to guess, maybe because I have so many health problems that they either cannot handle my health, or they don’t know how! If you don’t want me there just say so! Don’t keep me hanging on and in the dark. Everyone is nice to your face, but a different story when you leave, there is only one person that is very kind that doesn’t show partiality, and that is JESSICA. Ok, Listen Everyone, THE BOTTOM LINE IS, when you voice your opinion, the Doctor always says, “ I’ll talk to my staff about it and I’m very sorry, we will make better changes and do better we are very concerned. WELL DR. JONNALA, how many Years YOU BEEN SAYING YOU WILL MAKE IT BETTER, AND YOU NEVER EVER DO!!” All Talk and NO ACTIONS . Tells me not only you won’t, but never WILL!Now I know why I left you in the first place! YOUR STAFF STINKS AND YOU DONT CARE, your playing with peoples Lives, what part of that don’t you UNDERSTAND???? Just remember, first visit with them is good, maybe the second to, after that your on your own, oh, Tika even gave me the wrong dosage on my meds, Thank you, if y’all know what’s best, Find another Dr. Y’all will be waisting your time and money, lots of money!! Thank you🦅🙏

I had my first visit at Eastside Rheumatology this morning and I am so glad that I chose this office. Everyone at the office was so nice and the office itself was beautiful and very clean. I love that they have an on site lab so I can get everything done in one visit. I also love the fact that someone actually answers the phone when you call. Dr. Jonnala herself was amazing, she took her time to listen and really get to know my issues and needs. She was very helpful in explaining my conditions and very clear and informative about what steps we will take to find the right treatment for me going forward. I have been seeing a rheumatologist for about 10 years and I feel like I learned more from her in one visit than I have in the previous 10 years. I'm so happy to have found this practice!

I cannot say enough good about Dr Jonnala. She is human, she cares, she listens, and is so responsive. She has gone above and beyond to help my mom. So refreshing in the big crazy world of medicine. Grateful!!

Dr. Jonnala is the first Rheumatologist I have had in 25 years who didn’t look at her watch once at my first appointment. She listened, took copious notes, sent me for labs and THEN laid out a plan to stop incessant organ damage from Lupus and suggested ways to alleviate the excruciating pain that comes with it. I had some side effects from one of the medications. I called her nurse Keisha. Keisha relayed my message. Dr. Jonnala called me on a SATURDAY to inquire about the problem. It is Monday and I am on a new regimen. Unfortunately, COVID has all but decimated customer service in the medical world. This is understandable. Dr. Jonnala delivers first rate care ANYWAY. I didn’t expect it and am beyond appreciative. If only people left reviews when things go well…

Have been calling for 4 days now just to make a new patient appointment. Have not received one call back. If this is an example of the service they provide, I'll take my business elsewhere. Thank God I don't have an emergency.

I've been a patient of Dr Jonnala for many years. I was referred to her from my primary doctor, when my previous RA doctor no longer was on my insurance plan. On my first visit (from my bloodwork), she found I was very deficient of Vit D which my previous RA Dr had missed. I've been thru almost all the RA drugs & once she put me on Xeljanz I saw a drastic improvement. I'm thoroughly monitored on my bloodwork every 3 months, Dr visits are on time, never rushed & she answers all my crazy questions. The nurse & front staff are great. No problems if I have to change my appt dates or have a question. My calls are ALWAYS returned quickly. I recently moved farther away, but definitely keeping her as my RA doctor!
