Georgia Nephrology's Online Review Report Card

Very unprofessional location. I usually go to the Johns Creek location and havd no issues, however this particular day, I called the Snellville location to see if I could get my preliminary bloodwork done because I only live 10 minutes away. The woman that answered the phone told me to come right in and that would be no problem. I arrived, signed in and rung the bell as instructed on the wall as there was no one at ths front desk. I sat in the lobby for 20 minutes with no greeting. It wasnt until a laboratory technician (fair skinned African American woman with locs) noticed another women walk into the office that I was addressed. She asked how she could help, I told her I was coming to get bloodwork done for my upcoming appointments. She then asked what bloodwork I was supposed to get and I told her I was not sure but I was a patient and was told to come in for bloodwork. She did not ask my name or even check the sign in sheet. She simply said, "I have no idea what bloodwork you're talking about. I will check my system." I said okay and then went to my car to grab my phone charger. I witnessed tbe same woman get in her white sedan and drive away. At that point, I decided to leave as well. I saw her pull into a soul food restaurant as I drove to work. I understand we are all human, have bad days and need to eat. I dont understand rudeness, lack of communication between two adults. I called today and cancelled any future appointments I have with Georgia Nephrology as I will no longer be attending their facilities for my services. When you choose to work in certain fields, there is a certain level of professionalism and compassion that should be displayed. I hope she was just hangry and that's not how all of their patients are treated.
