List of Georgia Urology's Reviews
The provider was very professional and knowledgeable. But beyond that everything else was horrible. The lobby was very disorganized the results for all the tests and scans completed were never reported back to me. It is impossible to get a hold of a live person. Will not recommend it unless you want to spend weeks in anguish waiting for results.Update on 482021Still waiting on the results even though I placed a follow up call to the practice on 3262021.
This place was terrible. They got me in as an emergency which was good so they’ll get 2 stars for that.No thermometer. How can a doctor’s office not have a thermometer? I felt like I was inconveniencing the doctor and staff for having a 300 appointment on a Friday. The doctor didn’t even examine me. Sat me in his office to talk. Cringy as hell. He offered me a pelvic exams. “Dude I’m not letting you go anywhere near my girl parts” Then he actually proceeded asked me what types of test should he preform on me. “Hey brother I’m not the one who went to Med school and then furthered my education to be a specialist”. Why am I paying for a specialist if I am being asked what I wanted done. Maybe a suggestion? Anyway overall terrible experience I will tell everyone not to go there and I wouldn’t go there if I were you.
The office staff appointments scheduling billing of Georgia Urology have the worst customer service. They just dont care. And the wait time on the phone is unacceptable. I have had to call numerous times to make an appointment. It is virtually impossible to get a real person to answer. Its always press 1 press 2 press 4 etc.My average wait time on their phone system is 30 minutes and then all you get is voicemail. Then you dont get a call back and have toleave messages again the next day. They dont have a patient portal so a person can at least email their questionsconcerns. And checkingin online takes about 10 minutes because you have to go through numerous pages and answer questions for each checkin.Dr. Sherlag however is excellent. But his incompetent inefficient and uncaring staff will stop us from returning to that practice.None of them smile
This place is a legit scam Don’t spend $250 to be left unanswered Dr. Stark his staff are very very rude
This review is from my personal experience with this urologist who has been practicing here since 1995. During two office visits he took his time and explained everything. This was a serious illness tests should be back in 48 hours and someone will call with results as soon as they come in. His demeanor was that of a caring professional and knowledgeable man. Unfortunately it ended there. No followup whatsoever. Not once was a call received after test results came back even after leaving several messages inquiring when the results would be read. The answer was always the same you’ll get a call whenever he reads the results or the best we can do is try to message him. Was told if results come in after hours the on call physician would be in touch. Six days later it turns out the only way to get test results which showed immediate treatment at the hospital was necessary was to make another appointment It would have been great to see them on patient portal but wait Diagnosis test results medications office visit notes etc. aren’t uploaded to patient portal unless you log in and request they be uploaded. Even then all you get is a daily health record with blank fields. Why have a portal when you don’t use it? When you have a serious condition that will become life threatening without treatment and a doctor tells you someone will call right away when the results come in you expect a call. When being treated at the hospital the expectation is for a complete set of orders to be sent to the hospital. In this case orders were incomplete and the hospital staff had to call numerous times to get them. The utter lack of communication and especially no follow up make it absolutely impossible for me to recommend this practice.
Well treated by all members.
I feel Dr. Stark is a very good urologist. I have a lot of confidence in him. He takes time to explain things so that I understand what needs to be done.
First and last visit to Georgia Urology Snellville. A horrible office experience. The practice was obviously over booked with basically standing room only in the waiting room. I was taken to exam room blood pressure taken by nurse and left in room for over an hour and a half. I fInally checked at front desk and with an uncaring attitude they asked me if I wanted them to check with the doctor to see when he might be able to see me. Totally unacceptable office practice. It was obvious that they had plenty of patients and really didnt care how the individual patients were treated.treated
First of all the front office people were rude and acted like they were bothered by our presence second after sitting in waiting room for over an hour we got back to see the doc who spent maybe 30 seconds with us before saying we need to go to ER. Then they charged us 250.00 for so called visit. Do not go there its a RIP OFF
Great staff checking in was a breeze wait time wasnt long and the service was good. Thanks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
