List of Piedmont Eastside Medical Center's Reviews
There is a woman who works there with Nellie Jenkins on her name tag that was witnessed being rude to other staff, several EMTs and medics, and even patients. I was absolutely appalled at how unprofessional and absolutely HATEFUL this woman was being to everyone she encountered. She even threw paperwork that she was supposed to be giving to an EMT! I hope they file complaints on her, because an attitude like that doesn't need to be anywhere around patients!
This hospital is ridiculousThey have a pediatric sign outside but the front desk tells everybody they don't have a pediatric sideMy 3 year old son has been waiting in the ER from 12pm to 530pm with a 100 degree tempature vomiting and diarrhea but every time it's brought to the nurses attention they pushed us back to sit and wait...I call the operator and they transfer me to somebody who's not even in the waiting area to tell me there alot of people waiting as well but when I brought him to this hospital there were literally about 5 to 7 people ahead
Went to the Emergency Room on Christmas day for what I suspected were kidney stones based on the pain. I was in an excruciating amount of pain all around my lower back and even after I was taken back to a room, I was given nothing for the pain. After a CT scan was done and confirmed that it was a kidney stone, I still wasn't given an IV but got some shot for pain that did absolutely nothing. Then I was rushed out the door and told to just follow up with a urologist, as they've "done everything they can do" and bc "the stone isn't blocking anything."I couldn't even get out of the hospital bed, I was in so much pain, but they just tapped their feet impatiently while I struggled to get in the wheelchair. They didn't care at all about my pain and were just interested in getting me out the door.I've had kidney stones before and I've always been hooked up to an IV to receive pain meds. When I told this to my nurse, I got told that "it's not the same every time" 😑I've never felt so dismissed and tossed aside in a hospital's care. Now I'm just stuck at home in excruciating pain, unable to move, stuck taking Toradol (one step up from Advil) that they prescribed for pain, until my urologist appointment on Tuesday. It's common knowledge that kidney stones are some of the most painful things to experience... And I was treated like I had a paper cut.I will not come back to this place even if my life depended on it.
I have been in the ER since 0900.. it is now 0315. I have a fever, body aches, chest pain and bad cough and I am pregnant. The only care I’ve received is a chest XRay. This is by far the worst ER I have ever been to. If you are really sick (life or death) just go to north side Gwennitt. It’s a longer drive but the care there is way better.
Walked in with bro for his kidney stone around 2:30 AM , its 8:00 AM now and i have been told there are still 5 people ahead of me , although when i walked in we counted 8 people total in lobby . I asked the billing lady if this is usual and she says yes apparently in all hospitals; whaaaaaa where do we live Karachi?
Super kind and helpful. I have no complaints
DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT 6 HOURS FOR A RUDE DOCTOR WHO DOES NOTHING FOR YOU
this hospital is consistent with terrible experiences everyone is so disorganized and no one communicates. the majority of the staff has an attitude and are rude, zero compassion for people.
I had a 11 am appt to get a rapid covid test. I get there and I am told it is 1.5-2 hrs before I will be seen. Why do they make appt that they cannot keep? Others coming in after that had appts were being told 3 hr wait. This falls on the Dr and the office mgr that apparently wasnt there. They messed up my holiday travel plans.
Eastside changed hands again. Not sure how this one is working out. Seems like Piedmont is more profit driven than they are about patient health. Not as good as it was before the take over.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
