Waiting time insane, wait 10+ hour to see an doctor. The customer service is useless, keep find an excuse for my question. Would not recommend come to this hospital.
The slowest and laziest staff in the hospital system. i was quickly taken back to take an X-ray and then had to wait 3 hrs for the PA to read the results . I was told the radiologist was at home and ??? Like I'm an idiot ... I'm a RN , I know that the X-ray results were ready immediately. The lady at the front desk barely has a pulse and refuses to check to see what the hold up is
Please do not visit Piedmont Eastside medical center at any cost. These guys are scammers and have charged me insanely with 3000 dollars + 800 Xray just for doing an Xray and registration.3000 dollars going straight to someone's pocket for the emergency room i never entered into, the emergency bed i never used. When i tried disputing it they said they will send a collection agent. What kind of a scam these guys are running in name of CARE?

THANK YOU DR. MICHAEL LYNCH & RNN GLENN YOU ARE AMAZING! I also want to thank the X-RAY Technician that took my Mother to get a CT Scan, I am sorry, I did not take your name down but you are very polite, and caring young man.
Being a patient at Eastside Medical Center is a big joke. The staff does not care about patient care but spends lot of time talking and on their phone. Patient care is least of their worries. Recently I was at Eastside for stroke work up and was in PCU. I saw less of patient care and more of talking and playing around. I heard staff loudly talking about their manager having sex with another manager in the office. So it looks like the employees at Eastside are taking of their needs better than patient care.
My mother was a patient at Eastside and she had the worst experience ever, She just came with syncope and prior to hospitalization was walky talky , First day itself the tech left her in the bathroom and she fell and had a brain hematoma and broke her leg. Then she got staph infection, soon she went from walking to bedridden. I complained to administration and no one came to talk to me so I went down to administration and they did not allow to see the CEO or CNO. Later that week she developed sepsis, She used to lay on her urine and poop for several hours and developed bed sores on her butt. One day when I came to visit her left arm was all blue and when I looked closely someone had left my mothers arm with a tight tie for blood collection. After several days in hospital NIGHTMARE she was transferred to nursing home and the day of discharge a bald person said he was the bed management person came to my room and was rushing us to go to facility and was very rude. I will never come to this hospital and wouldn't recommend anyone. I am in the process of suing this hospital
Awesome Hospital, awesome staff!!!
Absolutely disgusting people who work here. Left my uncle in excruciating pain for THREE days because they QUOTE "don't want to touch his white boy ass". He was in so much pain that he hit the call button and NO ONE came to help him! My aunt who fortunately is in medical care and drove half way across the country had helped him. It was so bad that he had to get up and leave and go to a different hospital IN THE AMOUNT OF PAIN HE WAS IN, just because they wouldn't help him. I hope that if anyone who is in serious need of help and treatment goes somewhere else because this place WILL NOT do everything in their power to help. They left my uncle laying there dying for three days because they were racist, discriminating, disrespectful people. JUST so you are aware, Eastside Emory, the other hospital he was sent to had him ready to prep for surgery in FOUR HOURS. His life was saved because of a different hospital that actually cared for him like they were suppose to. To the disrespectful, racist NURSE who said what you said. And any other nurse who WOULDN'T HELP MY DYING UNCLE. I hope you lose your job and are never allowed back into the medical field. You people make this world the way it is. 1. Hippa 2. Discrimination 3. Medical negligence
The hospital is very good and service is very good but one you recovered from your illness and start feeling good, be ready from ER doctors bills. I was admitted last year and now I am getting my bills. Three ER doctors show me, total time spent with me was less then 20 minutes in total. They have billed me $6500 for that, yes you are reading right!!!!! $6500. All the doctors are out of my insurance network!!!!!!! They also told me they balance bill!!! That means once your Insurance pays them they want rest of the money from you!!! They refuse to work with my insurance company!! I spoke to eastside billing, they raised their hands stating they can't do anything with doctors billing!!!. When I researched it, they are contract physicians, The contract company is in Texas and their billing company is in Pennsylvania. I tried to call one of the doctor, his office location in in Macon. It is not straight forward, like you go to your regular doctor. $6500 doctors visit fees!!! You do your meth. You may need take loan or second mortgage or tell your kids you can't pay their school fees. Highway robbery!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
