List of Praveen Sivakumaran's Reviews
I was admitted to the hospital and later found out my blood levels were extremely low. Dr. Leaven recommended iron transfusions and a blood transfusion. I agreed immediately to the iron transfusion. However, I had questions about receiving blood from someone who had been Covid vaccinated because I had not been vaccinated at that time. This doctor first of all sped through questions, cut me off as I was answering him and told me I needed to ask the nurse about how this would effect me. Needless to say when I spoke with the nurse she told me Dr. Praceen should be the one to answer the question. The next day he comes in and tells me he has basically taken himself off my case and I am on blood thinners for three months. I asked him if I should follow up with him in three months or before the three months is over and his response was ‘you can if you want to. I gave orders yesterday that you did not follow.’ So basically he was telling me he wanted nothing else to do with me as a patient. If you are someone who likes to be educated about your health options, especially if you have a new and serious diagnosis, this is definitely not the doctor for you.
Unfortunately Dr Siva acts as God with lots of ego. Does not listen to the patient. Rushes me when i schedule a visit and I leave his office unhappy and unsatisfied. He got very affended when he found out that i tried to see another Dr. at the same hospital.
My grandmother went to this doctor after being referred by her primary care doctor. She was supposed to see a colleague, Dr. Freadman but he was not available. Anyway,Dr.Praveen Sivakumaran was extremely rude and condescending to my grandmother. He would ask her a question and when she would answer he would look at my grandfather and ask him if that was true. He seemed to not believe her and would badger her with almost every question. Very unprofessional and just rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
