The Snellville location’s nurse practitioner was rude and condescending. I was rear-ended in a car accident two days ago and initially spoke with a virtual nurse practitioner. The virtual nurse practitioner suggested I get X-rays because of my neck and back pain. I went to the inpatient location because I thought I could receive the X-ray from the Piedmont urgent care facility. The practitioner informed me that their facility could not perform the needed evaluation and that I should go to the ER. I did not have a problem with what was said, but my concern was how the information was conveyed. The nurse practitioner’s tone was abrupt and terse. When I tried to tell her where l was experiencing discomfort, she said I needed to let her complete her exam. She was accusatory and insinuated I was being deceptive by coming into the clinic. Fortunately, I have not had many reasons to frequent urgent, but if this is the type of care I will receive in the future, I will not return to the Snellville office again.
