Yvonne Scott Miller's Online Review Report Card

Dr Yvonne Scott Miller is the most efficient, kind , competent and accomplished doctor I have ever seen. She made me feel comfortable from the moment she greeted me in the waiting room. I found my new women’s health provider. The office is clean and beautifully decorated with inspiring artwork. I am so impressed by my experience today. So thankful i found this office. God bless you Dr Yvonne! This is truly your calling! You inspire me so much! Thank you!

Scheduled my appointment in mid June for early July on zocdoc as voicemail and website instructed.Got confirmation email.Got reminder prior.Got a day of reminder.Showed up 15 minutes early as stated to do paper work.They called my name 10 minutes later and asked what I am doing here, as I do not have an appointment.I showed them the confirmation email, and the text messages.Still said I don’t have an appointment and stated the doctor is booked and I cannot be seen. We started arguing and eventually they gave in. I saw the doctor 1.5 hours later. And my entire appointment took 2.5 hours total.They told me they would call me with the results.Never called.They said they would call me to get my birth control replaced once it arrives.Never called.

So I had reviewed before and apparently it was removed. Dr Yvonne Scott Miller is a phenomenal GYN. I had an issue where I was in absolute agony and while literally no other doctor had figured out what was wrong, Dr Scott did. She saved me when others dismissed my issue. I could care less what kind of music she plays in her office, she took care of me and my problem. For that I give her 5 stars and a huge thank you.

Dr. Scott-Miller is the GYN doctor to see especially you have any kind of GYN problem. Because her practice has grown so, they don't have the time to answer the phones; and she definitely do not have the time to do call backs like she did when I worked for her in the early 90s; she was just startingto grow her practice back then; She called people back after she finished seeing patients-so now, everything is done on line. I drove 4 hrs this week just to get second opinion. I did not have any issues with thefront office . Everyone was Great!

Poor customer service from front office staff.

I’ve been calling the office for weeks and no one answers. I’m not sure if they are open still. I left a message last month with the nurse or a receptionist regarding a prescription refill and was told the doctor is out but they would communicate my message. I never received that refill or a call back. Now no one answers the phone at all so I’ve had to make an appointment with a new doctor and of course that takes time to get.

First time ever seeing this place. 2019 Dr. Yvonne Scott gave me a good feeling and impression about this place. Best Doctor ever for me

I've been going to Dr. Scott-Miller for about five years, since before she moved to her current location. I find her efficient, professional, friendly and direct - all things I truly appreciate. She moves quickly, as she's busy, but she *always* has time when I've had concerns or questions. The staff has always treated me well. I referred my mom to Dr. Scott-Miller when (my mom) moved to the area. We've never had issues with appointments (the office always calls to confirm ahead of time). Would absolutely recommend!

Did not enjoy my experience here. The wait time was extremely long and I was the first patient in the office. This was my first time visiting and Dr. Scott-Miller did not seem like she wanted to take the time to get to know me. She rushed through my appointment and did not clearly explain things. She also wrote me a prescription for a medication without asking  me if I liked the medication I was currently on. She was not personable and I do not recommend if you want a gynecologist that is going to listen to you.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! **I know this is very long, but PLEASE READ!!!** I never give bad reviews.. ever. But it's very necessary.  The staff are extremely rude!! The office is old w/ a bad smell. I had an appointment at 9am. The trash can in the room had no lid on it. It was filled to the top with dirty gloves & things from previous patients. (Which means they do not throw out contaminated trash on a daily basis). The doctor rushes you in & out. She didn't even want to explain side effects of each birth control. She told me to read them on a poster board taped on the wall... I asked  to get the mirena IUD (I've had it previously w no issues). It was suppose to take no more than 2 weeks to get approved. I waited about 3/4 weeks then I called to ask for an update. Elisia (the manger) said "if you want to know you can call your insurance & pharmacy yourself & ask"...So I did & they stated they had been trying to contact her for 2 WEEKS..I called to let her know & she was very rude & hung up on me. Keep in mind this is their MANAGER. About a week later, I get to the office to get my mirena inserted. Dr Scott Miller had to attempt a few times to get it done. She said over & over "shes never had to do this before in all her years. Once usually works"....When we finished, I was in *excruciating* pain. The Dr. told me to lay down for a few minutes.. then Elisia came to find me & said "I've been calling you to the front. Can you not hear? I mean are you staying the day with us??" IN FRONT OF The doctor & other patients. As I was checking out to leave.. Elisia started SCREAMING at me over the counter "I'm the one you were fussing at.. I'm not the one to play with lil girl.. you need to grow up lil girl". I never fussed at her. I'm a grown woman & a human being who doesn't deserve to be spoken to that way. Especially when I could barely stand up from the pain I was in. ALL the patients in the lobby heard & were in shock!!    Now it's a month later & I'm still in extreme pain, still have excessive bleeding... I went to the hospital & they've referred me to another OBGYN to check out my internal areas b/c something was done extremely wrong.. I know this review is very long & I'm sad that I even have to write this but no woman should ever go through what i have with this office. thanks for reading.
