We love Dr Deal and his staff. They take amazing care of our little ones.

I don't know about his life before I met him, but from basic knowledge and what I can tell he's a good guy and he knows what he is talking about

The absolute best in Statesboro. Spends alot of time with you and my kids love them all.

Dr. Deal is a wonderful doctor and takes his time to make sure the child is comfortable with him and his staff are all caring and very courtesy. His Nurse practitioners are just as thoroughly as the doctor.

Anyone who has been through coparenting should understand this statement. My wife, my ex wife, and I all agree, Dr. Deal and his staff are the single best pediatrics facility in Statesboro. He is attentive, involved, and empathetic. His entire staff demonstrates genuine care and qualification. I would recommend his office to absolutely everyone.

I love Dr. Deal & his Nurse Practitioner. They both have taken such great care of my son & from the first visit they have always listened to any concerns I have had with his health. They are quick to refer us to the specialists he needs & have been a huge help in getting him the help he needs! So thankful we found them! The only negative thing is sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen even with an appointment for a specific time.

The only positive thing that I liked about Dr. Deal’s office was the sweet lady that worked as the receptionist. However, Dr. Deal and his Nurse Practioner were not so great. I brought my son in as a newborn. I would share with Dr. Deal on numerous occasions the different things that concerned me pertaining to the health of my child. He would never consider immediately following up, but instead he would consistently put things at a halt. I also noticed that my son’s head was abnormally shaped. In many cases doctors would provide the child with a helmet to properly care for the rounding of the head. However, Dr. Deal insisted on waiting until the helmet was no longer an option, but instead it would now be of surgery! (Not doing!) Dr. Deal shared no concerns about my son’s circumcising being improperly done. Once again he insisted on waiting before determining if he would need to be recircumcised. Three years has passed and nothing has been corrected. The one thing that will forever haunt me will be the day I took my son in because of his abnormal breathing pattern and the lump that I felt in his chest. Dr. Deal never came in the room to checkout my son; instead, I shared with the nurse practitioner that my son was complaining about his chest feeling very painful and tight. I also shared with her that he was breathing abnormal. In such a horrific moment my child was still trying to remain true to his character, sweet and silly. However, I can see the pain that surfaced below the smile. The nurse practitioner shared with me that there was NOTHING wrong with my son. She also stated that the lump that we felt on the left side of his chest must have always been there, and I just never noticed it. I assured her that I knew it was a lump that was never present before because I always rub my child all over with lotion after every bath and every morning. It was a feel that I never felt. I also shared with her that my son stated that there was were he felt the most pain. We were sent home with no medical instructions, and my son’s condition had gotten worse by the hour. I could literally hear him wheezing while watching his stomach contract harder and harder. I called my dad and he demanded that I take my son to the E.R. There is where I learned that my son had pneumonia and his chest was filling with fluid. He had to be hospitalized for five nights! I cried so hard because had I trusted their poor judgment as a medical professional I literally could have loss my child that very same night. I would never recommend....

Dr. Deal is amazing. He takes wonderful care of our children and his staff is kind and appear to love working with children. We could not be happier and he is a fabulous pediatrician!

Through each stage of our babys growth, Dr. Deal has always provided very effective treatment when needed. His patient attention to our child and our questions is the norm. We always received a careful examination and good advise. The staff also seems to genuinely care. We highly recommend Dr. Deal.
