List of Optim Orthopedics Statesboro's Reviews
I was pleased with my visit to Optim Scott Sanders is the best He is there to listen to my problems I was having and offered things to be done instead of surgery Very pleased with my visit
This was a horrible experience. Mr. Sanders walked in the room displaying a demeanor of not wanting to be there. Because it was around 845 AM I couldnt understand what could have happened that caused him to be this way at this time in the morning. I attempted to show him how the slightest touch affected me. He never looked up. I was in an extreme amount of pain. I have been for several months. My expectations were that I would leave knowing the definite cause. I feel he assumed I was looking for some type of handout. His demeanor only improved after I answered his questions regarding my place of employment and the type of work I did. While it was not great improvement it was some. He asked if I exercised or had tried loosing weight to improve my pain. Initially I said no because I could already tell this is the road he had planned to travel by the first sight of me. It wasnt until after he said it is arthritis and my weight is the cause of my pain that I told him I was in a weight loss program and had lost weight since the onset of my pain. He looked up and offered to submit an authorization request to my insurance company for a MRI he had asked if I had insurance during the time he questioned about employment. I felt dismissed by Mr. Sanders before we were halfway through the appointment. At one point he asked me to move a certain way. I was unclear if he wanted me to move beyond the point of excruciating pain or to the point where I could tolerate it. When I asked he stated Sweetie you move like this everyday as if it should not hurt because of that. I hurt like this everyday....this was the reason I was there. This was the second time that optim orthopedics has treated me this way. I would rather die in the pain that I am in than have another appointment with this group.
Great office visit. Didn’t have to wait too long and my son was comfortable with Scott Sanders.
Great service
Very competent courteous staff. Online preregistration actually worked there was no delay in checkin before being called back to the examination room. After blood pressure other vitals I was taken directly to xray was back in the examination room without delay. Dr. Aaron saw me within 5 minutes after xray thoroughly discussed all of my treatment options answered all of my questions without rushing me at all. In short I cannot envision a less stressful visit to prepare myself for surgery that I have been dreading for some time. I left after my visit feeling confident that I will soon be able to return painfree relatively speaking to the enjoyment of activities which Id had to give up Dr. Aaron has previously treated me and 3 members of my immediate family with excellent results and this recent experience is typical of all our contacts with him and his staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. Explained in detail what he found out about my back

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
