Doctor Dorvilus is the only Dr me and my finally trust. He treated our mom when she had cancer. If he had been on duty that day. He was thorough and my sisters travel to metter to see him. He is the best bed side manor. We love him and his staff all professional

Dr. Dorvilus is treating me for a duodenal ulcer that has been VERY painful. He has performed several procedures that really helped me. My main complaint is about his N.P.(Nurse-Practitioner).The visits(monthly)consist of their entering the room, sitting down, asking a few(VERY few)questions. Any questions I ask are either ignored or barely answered(they have a condescending & patronizing attitude). Then they listen to my breath, lastly, are there any meds I need refilled, then its time to go...While I give Dr. Dorvilus himself an 8 out of 10(10 being the best),I give his N.P. a 2 out of 10.I am now looking for a new practice for my Gastro needs.

De. Dorvilus is detailed. Here doesn't take your medical history for granted, no matter how minor. He clearly explains his procedures to the patient and asks questions to be sure that the patient understands him.

Dr. Dorvilus is a kind and concerned doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. However, the way the office is ran is terrible. I’ve never had less than an hour and half wait In the waiting room to be seen. They were very difficult to set up getting test results with. The last straw was going in for a follow up, sitting there for two hours, finally going to the window to ask what the issue was to be told I had never actually been checked in even though I signed in. I left and called the following week to have all my documentation sent to a different office. After months of requests that yielded no results, I had my PCP send a new referral to a different GI and request my records to send along with it since they wouldn’t do so at my request.
